Ah, you'll learn. Crispy's got most of the Heavy/Death Metal and Hardcore stuff, while I simply put in Thrash/Death/Progressive Metal. Shit be a learning process yo.

Well it's not like I'm totally noob-ish. I've posted some things here too that are pretty damn good imo (I wouldn't have posted it if I didn't like it! lol) It's just most of what I've heard were on a radio station that went down a few months ago. Now I don't have a station for my metal, just a rock station that occasionally does metal.

Well the radio is good for someone like me who has little other places to find new metal. I don't have any friends who listen to metal, almost everyone on the internet that I know and in real life listen to classic rock mostly and don't like metal at all. It's like "Seriously, where's all the metal lovers who won't bitch about the screaming every time I show them a song. "

You know what really sucks, even between those who actually like metal I never hear anyone who says they actually like screaming and growling. Everyone just "tolerates" it. Makes me sad that no one else sees the charm in that type of vocals.

Based on what you seem to like, I'd reccommend you get The Gathering and First Strike, Still Deadly. FSSD is just a bunch of remastered Testament songs, but I'm guaranteed you'll like it.

<3 I absolutely love guitar like that in the solo. That is the reason I listen to guitar and drums more than anything when I listen to metal. Though there are times when the vocals compliment them perfectly like Dethklok, All That Remains and Skeletonwitch.

I honestly do think you should try and check out Kreator. Enemy Of God and Hordes of Chaos seem perfect for what you're looking for. Also, if I may have your opinion Discordian, what do you think about Machine Head?

I honestly don't think I've ever heard much by them. Might have heard one or two but I don't remember them. I should check them out, I saw videos for them on Youtube while listening to stuff there.

If you mean Kreator: I honestly do think you'll get a kick out of Enemy Of God.

 

If you meant Machine Head: Their new album Unto the locust Is pretty good. Up your alley if I do say so myself.
