I thought Modern Spongebob started after the movie, which began with Season 4. 

Anyway, Season 4 had some great episodes, but was a mixed bag overall, Season 5 was when the show started to suck, Season 6 was bad, and Season 7 and onward is horrible.

I love that show. I used to but I don't watch it much anymore anyways because I have Pokémon and my little pony and things and besides it's not as good anymore.

All right, you know what really ticks me off? Squidward torture porns. They seem to be made for the sole purpose of toruring Squidward for no freaking reason. Every episode of them involves Spongebob, Patrick, or both deciding to annoy Squidward but unlike the early seasons where he does something deserving of the torture, he doesn't do anything. It also doesn't help that Squidward ends up losing in the end, leaving the episode coming off as mean-spirited. The worst of the bunch are Good Neighbors, Boating Buddies, and Choir Boys. 

 

The only thing worse than Squidward torture porns are Gary torture porns (A Pal for Gary, Pet Sitter Pat).

I'm a big fan of Mr. Enter, and I learned about more Modern Spongebob episodes I didn't know about, like One Coarse Meal, Spongebob, You're Fired, Pet Sitter Pat, and some of the Squidward Torture Porns, like Smooth Jazz in Bikini Bottom.

Yes, I am subscribed to Mr. Enter. I like his balance of Mlp videos and cartoon videos like Animated Atrocities. And yes, I do watch his Spongebob atrocities.

Favorites? The only one I remember loving so much was Skill Crane. Skill Crane was just funny as all heck.

Worst would either be A Pal For Gary or One Coarse Meal.

The best Modern Spongebob episodes are The Two Faces of Squidward and Not Normal. They're weird, but in a good way

 

Unfortunately there are more bad than good. I can probably come up with my own list of worst episodes, but to save time I'll just list my least favorites: A Pal For Gary, Freeze Face, One Coarse Meal and Atlantis Squarepantis.

 

Also, outside of that horrible toenail scene, I actually likd House Fancy, solely for the fact that Squidward actually wins for once at the end.

 

And I'm also probably alone on this, but I never cared for the MysteriousMrEnter, my preferred Spongebob(and animation guys) are usually PIEGUYRULZ and RebelTaxi(though mostly for animation, I don't think he's done a Spongebob vid)

Um, well honestly I haven't seen enough of the modern spongebob episodes to really say what my favorites are, or least favorites, or even episodes I don't like(I don't catch the titles half the time, and honestly I don't think I remember most of them anyways.)

 

But modern Spongebob episodes are certainly a step down overall from the older episodes. I normally don't like to go all the old is better than the new, but in this case even though not all the new Spongebob episodes are like absolutely terrible, they just don't compete with the older episodes.

 

The older episodes are just so much more memorable and quoteable and stuff, and the newer episodes just seem less that way. 

 

I'm sure as much as I don't like to like things for nostalgia that nostalgia plays into it, and the fact i've not watched modern Spongebob a ton anyways, but regardless from what i've seen it just, doesn't seem as memorable, I honestly can't even recall much of anything from the modern Spongebob episodes.

 

So basically modern Spongebob is either just not as good as the majority of the older Spongebob, or is just bad.

 

Atleast from what I've seen. I won't say it's absolutely terrible, because it still has it's moments I suppose from what i've seen, but overall it just doesn't compare to the old Spongebob.

 

All my opinions of course. While I don't think it's quite as bad as some make it out to be(well some of it can be) it is inferior to the older Spongebob episodes.

My favorite would probs be Dunces and Dragons or Krusty Towers and my least favorite are the squidward torture episodes

I don't even know anymore. I once had a goal or expectation that I would not miss out on seeing any new Spongebob episode, but my interest in the show and television in general has dilapidated that expectation. Although I did find that Sand Castle episode to be quite funny and ridiculous xD. It's basically what you would expect in a role play with @Rainbow Eclipse :comeatus:.

post anything you say eh? well Modern Spongebob is a huge load of garbage and has lost sooo many fans when season 3 ended including me its not funny its very boring and they made all the characters completely unlikable

I haven't watched Spongebob in ages, but I saw some of the specials and they were awful. Like Truth or square, which was just an insanely over-hyped piece of trash. Just like the others.

I stopped watching around season 6 or so, but from what I've heard it's a totally different show from pre-season 4 SB. IMO it was getting pretty bad towards the end of season 5 so I don't even want to imagine what the show is like now. I don't think my heart can take it.

Modern Spongebob is like Modern Simpsons, the show creators ran out of ideas.  Even all of Seth McFarlen's shows stopped being funny five years ago.  I hope MLP: FiM doesn't turn out the same way.  So fare it's still good, especially since the show seems to be focusing a bit more on season-long stories with episodic plots in each episode.  I really hope MLP evolves with the audience instead of becoming boring and stale.

I did see some reviews on the modern SpongeBob episodes and they were right about the show hitting rock bottom. It's a shame that SpongeBob Squarepants got turned into an ugly barnacle after the movie.

 

I don't think MLP FiM will follow the same way as new writers were introduced in season 4. Maybe we'll get to see some more good writers for the next season.
