Who else prefers the night?

I've always been of two sides on this. I either want to wake up late and stay up late to see the night. Or I want to go to sleep early and wake up early so I can see the early morning before the sun rises. It's just so nice and peaceful at those times. I sometimes wish they would last longer because I really don't like it when the sun is up. It's just so much more pleasant when it's dark and even better if it's a cool temperature.

I absolutely love the night! As much as i love the sun too i still prefer the night. It's something about the moonlight, how it's so bright and beautiful in the black sky. The feeling of the night with the fixed moon there too is so peaceful. I love the nights when it's breezy because then you can feel the cool air on your face while you look at the moon. I also love walking and seeing all the lights shine bright.

I prefer doing things at night than in the daytime, since... Just a preference. City sceneries do look much cooler with the lightings. Umm... Well I used to look at the stars a lot at night, but I haven't done that so much anymore. Things are also more calm at night... Depending on where you're at lol.

I'm an overly dramatic wimp, so walking at night makes me insanely nervous. In spite of that, I find driving at night time to be very enjoyable and somewhat nostalgic (especially in a downtown area with lots of nice neon lights). Also, like the OP said, thunderstorms, rain, etc. are all very atmospheric and more enjoyable at night for me. 

 

(When I'm not alone that's also when I tend to watch MLP, so there's that :3)

Night time is cool. Nothing against it, but I do find it a little... I don't want to say depressing, but that's the best word I have for it. People who live in large suburbs or cities, which is most people don't get to enjoy a beautiful, starry sky. Most of them only get an orange haze with an occasional planet shining through. Where I grew up way out in the sticks, the sky was as clear and vast as one could imagine. Breathtaking. Despite this, I prefer the golden glow of dawn as nature awakens, with the knowledge that I have a full day ahead of me to accomplish whatever I desire. As the sun begins to set, I feel my heart sink with it, and night time is just a reminder to me that I have my next work shift looming close.

 

Give me the bright, warm, invigorating light of day. Occasional thunderstorms are relaxing and a welcome reprieve. Still, I prefer they happen during the day than at night. The grayness of the cloudy sky balances the soothing aspect of night and the gladness of day for me.

Well I like a nice beautiful day, but I always prefer a chilly night.

 

Just looking at the sky makes me wish I was a pegasus or alicorn so I could fly through the clouds and such lol. At nighttime, during the winter. I can imagine the flight being very breathtaking.

I love the night as well. As a matter of fact, atm, I wake up around noon and I enjoy myself till somewhere around dinner time. Then, I will continue my work till it's about 2AM. The night is simply better in most cases, IMO. The main exception is when I have to travel alone at night... I hate that, but that has mainly to do with some very nasty experiences in my past, so yeah... can't blame the night for that. As long as I have multiple people with me I don't mind traveling at night.

Night is my favorite time, its quiet, there are no annoying people, and its so much cooler and softer. Much nicer than the day (I have quite sensitive eyes anyway so every single day of my life I'm squinting).

 

Moonlit walks are my ultimate favorite thing ever. No contest. Nothing can beat them ever. It just would be so much nicer if I could share them with somebody else

I'm type of a night person for most of the time. When I don't have to wake up early I can stay awake even till 4-5 am (But at the same time I don't like waking up after noon. That's one of paradoxes of my life  ) I like night, because it's much more peaceful and calm than a day. Nobody is walking around and annoying me. Night is much more inspiring and it's better time for thinking and contemplating about things beacause there's much less disturbing factors than during a day.
