I'd save her, because I actually like Diamond Tiara, but I'm sure as heck not pushing that button with my good hand.  I might even kick the button, because it's probably easier to have a prosthetic foot than a prosthetic hand.

Red button all the way. A physical damage is way better than a trauma of knowing you killed someone.

Although in all honesty, I wanna hear her confession first, while she's hanging.

I'm not sure for the purposes of this intellectual exercise if it should be seen as that simple. If so the OP would have not included the memory wipe if the immoral decision was made and personal loss if the moral decision was made. It would have been simpler to just say red means she lives, and yellow means she dies.

It is meant to explore some great societal constructs like strength of conviction, personal filter, as well how guilt effects our decision making process.

Not quite Sophie's Choice, but it's in the same neighborhood.

That is just it, the memory wipe is just a cop out to escape accountability.

Which means that if you could escape all accountability from both the moral and legal stand point of morality. Would you kill this character who is nothing more than just a bully. A bully who will most likely just grow out of that phase in life.

What if she only bullies them, because she secretly likes them? Like how children do when they are in love and have no idea what else to do?

You could be killing Scootaloo's future wife/Husband...depending on who is a top and who is a bottom.

Red, I'm ambidextrous so I can afford to lose a hand. And anyway, she's young and spoiled. You can't condem her to death just because she doesn't yet realise that her actions have serious negitive rammifications. And anyway, I'd rather take a risk on someone because they might be better than give up on someone because they might not.

Correct, there is no accountability in an intellectual exercise involving a life and death decision of a fictional character name Diamond Tiara. I mean, I wouldn't consider Stephen King a murderer and he killed millions of babies and children in his fictional mind.

In a hypothetical scenario, all accountability can be escaped yes. It's the safety of this thread being 1) not actually something that can happen and 2) not something that would necessarily represent the actual decision tree and outcome if it were a real world scenario. The false safety of fabricated situations on the internet and all that. However, the idea that you talk about was superbly tackled in Lord of the Flies.

I look at classifying intent as a legal question before a moral one. In a moral high level view of the scenario of the OP, the motivation would likely be irrelevant.

Due to the fluid and nebulous (hey I used that word for once) nature of future outcomes, you should avoid the trap that comes from anticipating every possible outcome.
