I have to admit I think Sunset Shimmer came into her own during Rainbow Rocks because she had to deal with not only so many students unwilling to give her a fresh start even after she rebuilt the entire front of the school but even her friends could not resist taking little jabs at her past mistakes and yet she dealt with it almost beautifully - She didn't get angry or upset because to her this was her punishment for what she did wrong and she knew she had to put up with it until the time when the school said "OK Shimmers you are free now".

One thing I am kinda hoping for is that she makes an appearance in the Show because there is nothing to say she can not return to Equestria from the "Other world" and it will be interesting to see her interaction with the others and more importantly Princess Celestia.

There is just one aspect that I do not understand from Equestria Girls - We are told that all the Ponies from Equestria have their own Human Counterparts in the Other Realm...if that is true then where was Sunset Shimmers counterpart in all this? I mean she was from Equestria to begin with so there must have been a Sunset Shimmer in their world too right?

I would love to see Starlight Glimmer but yeah...Sunset Shimmer took her place but that doesn't mean that she can't have a human version too. I don't care if she gets a speaking role or not but a cameo, easter egg, or end-credits anything to confirm her existence in EQG is all I ever wanted.

I could barely believe my eyes when I saw this. Someone actually said that Sunset Shimmer took Starlight Glimmer's place, not the other way around.

A rather awkward occurrence happened to me today and left me sad.

 

 Hoped for a package of outmost value to arrive today...only to realize that it's Memorial Day. "Be a good boy and wait some more!" 

 

Now I need some regular shimmerbetes to elevate my ruined mood

I"m not sure why people keep thinking Sunset will show up in the show. she part of EqG movies she won't show up in the TV show.  yeah some say that starlight just Sunset 2.0 but I don't really see that at all. Two vary different personalities. It just we gottne more screen time of Sunset then Starlight.

Granted the first EqG movie plot holes still boggle my mind to this day.

I don't really agree with all this talk of Sunny and Sunburst being siblings. The idea doesn't appeal to me. I have a headcanon that she's an orphan after something tragic happened to her original family. But there's no these two are siblings, maybe friends but not siblings.
