Sunny's the best! (sorry, Sonata. I still love you)  She's got so many cute expressions in the second movie. Like that cute little after-talk grin she gives to Twilight, in the middle of the night. (stupid Twi, you should've asked her for help!)

I got my second piece of Sunny merch today. eeeeeeksqueeeeespazzzzzz, she's so cute!

I realized recently that Sunset Shimmer has a horrible, dark secret. Well I mean besides the whole possibly murdering that world's Sunset Shimmer and taking her place.

 

Note in this picture: Fluttershy has pink hair, and pink eyebrows. Rarity has purple hair and purple eyebrows. Now Sunset Shimmer has red and yellow hair and... black eyebrows?

 

I think that is not her natural hair color.

And yeah maybe it's because equstria girls is what may have not got her popular but the 2nd saved her.

It's more about the mane 6 but it would be nice to know her more

Or the out-of-Universe answer: more likely the animators thought neither red nor yellow eyebrows stood out very well against her orange skin, and black eyebrows would be more visible, making her face more expressive.

 

Either way, I wouldn't want Sunny's hair or eyebrows any other colour. She's perfect how she is.

I'm actually kinda surprised by how much I was indeed endeared to her. She was all right in the first movie, but by GOD she was the star in the sequel.

 

And that one with her guitar...she is so adorable in that one. <3

Yer I know what you mean. Whilst I liked her as a villain, I LOVED her as a redeemed character. <3 Definitely the star of the show!

Couldn't agree more, she took 'Welcome to the Show' to a whole new level.

I'm not a Trixie fan admittedly but I thought she worked well in this movie.

Homigawd, I know I say this every time, but I still get goosebumps, even when just listening to the OST in my car, when she comes in on Welcome to the Show. And I flash back on her ponying up and there's almost tears. It's amazing.

Haha, me too. Like, the commentary cuts in with "as she says in a fit of jealous rage", but she's not jealous of Trixie or anyone in the band. She's just tired of being shat on for the whole movie. Seriously! Sunny needed some moral comfort. She's trying to be a better person and everyone just kept putting her down. Probably why I felt for her.
