Sugar & Sins 156 February 15, 2015 Share February 15, 2015 When I think it will add a bit of humour into a sentence, plus I don't really see them as bad words or anything, I mean I always wondered how words could be seen as offensive. I've never been offended by words, only actions. The worst part about being strong is that no one ever asks if you're ok...

uml4mj4m 134 February 15, 2015 Share February 15, 2015 I do all the time, but not around family. The worst I've said around my family is "Jesus Christ", if you can call that offensive.
Denim&Venöm 18,929 February 16, 2015 Share February 16, 2015 Depends on what you consider profanity. I don't consider words like bitch, damn, crap, ass & goddammit to be profanity. If it can be said on TV anytime before 8pm, it's pretty safe. Other than that I don't swear at all, using some other words or phrases instead, a fact that annoys my parents who cuss like sailors. Haruhi-chan 486 February 24, 2015 Share February 24, 2015 updating my answer because I've changed I use them quite a bit, especially when I'm pissed or excited about something. It's even worse when I'm fangirling too. I say the f word so many times it's not even funny. I just can't help it though. I mean, it's how I am and how express my joy/anger as well as talking in all caps when I do. x Haruhi Suzumiya x goddess of the world twitter
CaptainDoubloon 856 February 24, 2015 Share February 24, 2015 Very rarely, I have to be really upset about something. Normally I can't bring myself to curse just because.
Ashen Pathfinder 16,161 February 24, 2015 Share February 24, 2015 I tend to curse a fair amount depending in the situation; and usually if I am alone. I try not to use such language around others; especially my parents, though I may use it around friends if I am upset over something. gamecubeguy214 2,512 July 6, 2016 Share July 6, 2016 I use profanity when I'm feeling salty or when I'm trying to really emphasize how much I hate or love something, and the worse the swear word, the stronger I feel about that subject. Denim&Venöm 18,929 July 6, 2016 Share July 6, 2016 Depends on your definition of a profanity. Bitch, damn, ass, douche, aren't profanities. But I never drop the f bomb, hole in combination with ass, or any ethnic or sexual slurs.
Detritus 258 July 6, 2016 Share July 6, 2016 Fairly often, but only when it's warranted. I'm not one of those people who drop f-bombs in every sentence.

MLS_Brony 177 July 6, 2016 Share July 6, 2016 I generally only use it in situations where it's tolerated. Saying that, when I'm at work I tend to use the F-bomb like it's a comma most of the time. :\
Corgis 574 July 6, 2016 Share July 6, 2016 I swear next to never but I have gotten in the habit of swearing when something goes horribly wrong. I just save it for when there really is a problem and I feel the need to let some anger out.

Lonk Chase 255 July 6, 2016 Share July 6, 2016 It seems like when I'm really mad I try to show how frustrated I am by using minor swears. I sometimes say swears in my head. MorningFlash 214 July 6, 2016 Share July 6, 2016 Fairly often; I use it to either hyperbolise my point, to express pain when ive stubbed my toe or something stupid, or to complain. Credit to Lunia
NightmareLuna800 1,383 July 6, 2016 Share July 6, 2016 I have never sworn once in my life, it really ain't my thing and I just don't do it. Simple as that. "Signature by Kyoshi"

Noandnoandno 100 July 6, 2016 Share July 6, 2016 Recently quite often actually, very much so almost never in real life, over microphone or in text I spam f bomb there and s word that almost all the time, it wasn't always the case, came in naturally, who knows why. It's something I have to do. I was there, too. Before everything else I was like you I won't let you fall apart.
DubWolf 17,263 July 7, 2016 Share July 7, 2016 I'm a potty mouth; I use them all the time. It's not a good habit when you're sometimes in that setting where it's not really acceptable to use them. Maybe I should resort to saying "smurf" everytime I know I would've cussed. Sig by Wolf, Handwriting by SparklingSwirls
Kyoshi Frost Wolf 41,467 July 7, 2016 Share July 7, 2016 I actually do fairly often, especially if I am in a bad mood. Just the typical swearings, though sometimes I tend to make my own up. XD I try to show absolute restraint when speaking say with my doctor or someone similar, but other than that, the words happen. I don't see it as an issue of any sort, just expression is all. Dreambiscuit 9,691 July 8, 2016 Share July 8, 2016 I use profanity quite often to be honest. I love to swear. I swear when I'm happy, mad or just for recreation. I don't swear around kids (unless their language is worse than mine) or around others who would be offended by it. And I keep it under control at times and places where it would be inappropriate. I try to keep my swearing civilized and use cartoony swear words instead of real ones most of the time, but a nice choice F word, or (in extreme cases) a C word seems to do the job when nothing else can. It may not be the most attractive talent habit, but there are worse things I could do.
