Do you think Discovery Family is airing AF on 4th of July so they can get the first half of Season 5 out of the way so they can delay it until fall, for the Christmas and Halloween episodes?

There's scheduled to be a rerun of the first four episodes of season 5 on July 18. That's all I know.

You don't think they'll announce at Comic-Con that there'll be a new episode next week after all?

 

That's what I've been saying. It's possible there will be an announcement or a change in schedule, but how can we be so certain there won't be a break when we know absolutely nothing about the season after episode 13? The only thing we know for certain is that there will be at least one week to wait between episodes 13 and 14. But if you're asking me, we should brace ourselves for that one week lasting for up to three months. Child's play compared to the 11-month wait between seasons 4 and 5, if I do say so.

I wouldn't be surprised if it would last that long. But still, there hasn't been any official announcement of episode 13 being a mid-season finale, either. Who knows, maybe a new episode will be announced as soon as I finish typing this. I'm looking forward to knowing what the rest of the season will be about, too. But it doesn't hurt to exercise patience.

 

EDIT: Well, here's a new counter-argument to the three-month break: apparently season 6 will air later this year, and assuming we'll have one new S5 episode every week barring next week (which would end S5 on October 10, the fifth-year anniversary of MLP:FiM), the only way for that to happen is if we get anywhere between a single week and three months without another episode. That is unless some if not all the following episodes will be done in a back-to-back format, with at least two new episodes per week...or if the remaining 13 episodes that were produced for S5 will actually carry over into this season, making our first broadcast season separate from the production season count.

 

How about that? It turns out it's just the second half of season 5 after all, and it'll be coming "later this year". I doubt Hasbro would say that to describe a few weeks, either.

The episode numbers are wrong but I imagine they are actual episodes. I can't find confirmation of a mid season hiatus anywhere yet so I'm starting to think that is fake especially if M.A. Larson added to his list already.

If Brash Buck is Fluttershy's brother's real name I'll bet he is like Rainbow Dash but way more annoying. The Finale synopsis appears to be correct given the recent spoiler animatic. I think the Lena Hall character is Harrowing Harmony.  My personal theory is that Starlight uses the map to change history somehow in the finale.

First off none of these sound like a RariDash episode, a Scootaloo episode, or a Celestia episode

 

Honestly, among these, the only ones that sound remotely interesting(aside from the finale) are What About Discord, Brotherhooves Social, and Canterlot Boutique. In particular, the parts with with more Shining in "Brotherhooves"(and helping with Big Mac, AJ and Twilight no less) and Discord trying to befriend Angel and Rainbow Dash in "What about Discord"(especially with them seeming to dislike Discord the most), is something I've been interested in seeing. But that's where my hope seems to end.

 

First off, no mention of the Pinkie Pie family episode is a red flag(though conveniently, the episode "The One that Pinkie Knows" isn't mentioned). I REALLY don't know what to think of Made in Manehattan. Scare Master sounds like a blatant rehash of Luna Eclipsed. Not sure what to think of Crusaders of the Lost Mark since it supposedly involves Starlight Glimmer. The Hoofields and the McColts honestly sounds really boring. And there's no mention of the adult pony who doesn't have a cutie mark

My headcanon has Filthy Rich not being quite so... cutthroat in business affairs.  He likes money and likes to make money, but through savvy business dealings like building good relationships with suppliers like the Apple Family not through underhanded corporate greed type tactics.

Yeah, I'm starting to doubt her appearance. Then again, she could make a better final villain in the finale than Starlight Glimmer

It's been said the cute bully Diamond Tiara will show some hidden depths, and I think it's this one. I bet it will go like this, Diamond Tiara don't like Apple Bloom nor the rest of the Apples, but she'll show standards and dissaprove her daddy's attempts to take over Sweet Apple Acres at least

I feel exactly the same way about Fluttershy's brother. I want him to be her younger brother instead of having yet another older brother shown on the show.

True, making him not getting along with his sister, or the fact that we now know Flutters has a sibling, is not enough to make him stand out. Something more radical needs to me made, considering we know absolutely nothing about Flutter's family  (Dashie's is a close second though).
