What kind of PC do you use, manufactured or you built it yourself?

I built mine about a week after Thanksgiving last year (I gave thanks for having the money to build it). I had to buy a monitor with it since my brother took our old computer (that I also built) along with the monitor, so it could have had better specs if not for that.

Specs:

CPU - AMD FX-8350 stock speeds, I might overclock but I need to get a Cooler Master 212 EVO for it

Case - Cooler Master N200

RAM - Corsair Vengence 1600MHz, 8GB (2x4)

GPU - MSI GTX 760

Motherboard - Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3

HDD - 1TB Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM (I think, it might have been Western Digital)

Both the computers I use are manufactured/pre-built. I use a Dell Inspiron 3000 with Windows 8 (still haven't upgraded to 8.1 let alone 10 though) and a Toshiba notebook from 2010 dualbooting Linux Mint and Windows 7 (considering getting rid of the Windows 7 partition though).

I might build a computer in the future that dualboots Windows 10 and Linux Mint, but I'm not sure I will because I'm scared I'll probably screw something up :P

Mine's bought from PC World. I'd make my own, but I don't have the energy or patience to do it. HP does it well.

I don't know what my specs are, or where to find them on my laptop but... I have an old apple laptop that's factory-made. It used to be my mom's, but she got a new one and gave me this one. It's one of the white laptops they used to have before Macbook Air came out.

It does the job, and that's all that matters to me!

I built my desktop, though it is almost 3 years old now. I do plant to do a new build, but not anytime soon, probably my Junior or Senior year of college assuming I can scrap up the money.

In the meantime I have a pretty decent laptop to play games on at school.

I currently own a pre-built machine, that my passed away Grand-dad used to own. I plan to keep it until I can buy pieces to build one myself, so I can have a beast of a comp to play games on high or ultra!

I built mine myself, but I am in need of upgrades very soon. I can still play games, but I am slowly getting to where I need to run them on medium settings, which just won't do for me. I have a list of probably $2,000 worth of upgrades that I am going to pull out and overhaul my machine probably by late next year. I am aiming to get 1080p with 60FPS for all the latest games so I can get quality game footage.

The computer I am using right now is just an Ultrabook laptop, with an i5 processor. Nothing special. Can't play games all that well, I want to build my own computer one day but this one will have to do. It's part broken but it works at least. I hope to get a better one in the future.

I'm a COLT/STALLION, not a filly/mare. Just because I have a round muzzle does not mean I'm female. Remember that. =3

It's an old i5-3570 HP machine that I threw a GT-710 and an SSD into. The GPU is acceptable, but it desperately needs an upgrade if I want to play even mid-spec games on low settings.

Usually manufactured ones. I think it would be fun to build my own, but I don't really have the time or dedication for it.

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

I have bought a few used servers that were mostly-built (motherboard, CPU some RAM), most of them are Supermicro - I like those servers because they use more standard components compared to HP or Dell and buying a new Supermicro case or server I get the drive caddies with it. Most 2U or bigger Supermicro cases accept standard EATX motherboards if I ever need to upgrade. I built the main PC and file server myself, but they both have Supermicro cases. Game PC and media PC have noname IPC rackmount cases, I have a couple of those cases empty if I need them.
