ooc Dark Stars: Stars of the East [Fallout 3 Human RP]

Sometime ago I did an RP about my self created mercenary organization called the Dark Stars. But that was set sometime a decade after the original formation back on the east coast. This story will of their time on the Capital Wasteland.

 

The plot will be centered about as you are a newcomer into the ranks of the band of mercenaries.

 

You also teaming up with some familiar faces from the game itself such as Jericho, Charon, and even paladin Cross.

 

For application think of it like the Fallout creator. Simply give race, hair, eyes, general appearance and such along with your major skills and your SPECIAL.

 

The start will take place as three wastelanders are taken captive by Raiders. Before their demise they are liberated by a member of the Dark Star mercenaries. Given their new determination they'll team up with this squad and fight off the raiders before returning with them to the main headquarters were they will be enlisted as members.

First note, that is an awesome user name ^^

Think of it simply like the character creation in Fallout.

Choose race, hair, eye color, name. The general stuff and his basic appearance.

Also add a brief background about your character.

Things you cannot add to your background and such : Cannot be apart of the Enclave. No Mary Gary sueing or already have become a Paragon or Overtly powerful individual.

 

For your basic equipment, no powerful weaponry and such. You cannot begin with a great advantage. Yes you can be proficient and such as a, marksman but cannot start off with like an anti material rifle.

what would you consider a fair sniper type weapon? I use stealth and lockipicking mainly. I prefer to stay far away from m targets. As dm I hope you can help.

Hm, well the hunting rifle makes a good excellent overall even more so when you acquire a scope, if you're stealthy you can have a 5.56 Varmit rifle with a suppressor.

Wes lived in Little Lamplight until he was fifteen. Although he could have stated until he was eighteen, he left three years early and did not go straight to Big Town. After he left little lamplight, he tried to survive on his own, but was captured by slavers a few weeks later and was taken to paradise falls. He stayed in Paradise Falls for five months before he was sold to a small gang of raiders. He was sold for a very low price of 150 caps because he was dying of radiation sickness and wasn't expected to survive. However, he managed to steal a few packs of Rad Away from Doctor Cutter before he left.

 

The raiders forced him to earn 300 caps (twice what it cost to buy him) for the gang before they would take off his slave collar and accept him as part of their gang. He quickly earned the money by stealing a loaded brahmin from a trade caravan. He became the sixth member of the readier party. For the next three years he lived the life of a raider with the gangs leader, a man named Duncan, being the closest thing he had ever had to a father figure. He became addicted to Jet at age 18.

 

When he was nineteen, his raider band was slaughtered in a failed raid on a brotherhood outpost. Duncan was among the four raiders who died in the attack. Wes and the other remaining raider parted ways because Wes didn't want to join with a different gang and instead decided to give up the raider life. Instead, he in enlisted to join the Talon Company. He only stayed with the Talon company for three days, he never even received a uniform. He quit so shortly after signing on because he decided to work as an independent mercenary for more freedom and a better cut of the profits.

 

He's remained as an independent mercenary for the last eleven years.

There added his clothing. I know it's not from Fallout but doesn't it matter. Also can the armor we get include an M1 helmet. The ones they wore in WWII to 1985.

Awww ok. Let me think of one.

Cole was born in a small village located near Megaton. Cole's been an expert at a gun since the age of 10. When he was 16 a band of raiders came into the town and slaughtered almost everyone in it except for the boys who were takin someplace else. The village was burned down to nothing but ash. Luckily Cole escaped with a few other villagers. He lead them through the wasteland until they finally arrived at a place of safety, however Cole decided he would roam the wasteland instead. He wandered it for 10 years, killing anyone who preyed upon the weak.
