Most useless video game boss you faced.

The Rock Titan (Kingdom Hearts, Coliseum, Hades Cup 1st seed).... He just kind of stands there..... Like a giant stone statue..... just remember to jump when he steps, and your golden....

Omg, yes.  That guy.  Wow.  You just jump once every five mintues or so, and then just pummel him to death.  Easiest seed in the entire Hades Cup.  Easiest seed in the entire Colosseum.  And then, funnily enough, I think Sephiroth in KH is probably one of the hardest bosses in game history, at least amoung bosses in good, well designed games.  (Not talking about difficulty due to poor game mechanics or something.)

Phantom train from final fantasy 6 (or 3, depending which one you play). worst boss everr. all you have to do is use a phoenix down on it, and its gone.

Suplexing the train is usually worth it though

I remember facing Bowser Jr. at the end of every world in NSMB for the DS and thinking it was getting really old, really fast. Granted there were other bosses and it's typical in Mario games to have a recurring main villain, but he didn't seem to get any stringer throughout the game at all.

The truth is always rough.

Hmmm I think I would have to say it's a tie between Bob the killer Goldfish and Mysterio from Spider-Man 2...

Those are meant to be joke fights though, to underscore how pathetic the characters are.

I think the worst is Dracula from Castlevania 2.  He was supposed to be the final boss, for crying out loud, and you can beat him without him even getting a chance to make an attack.

Monsters you can make thunder weapons from in Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate- sure, they can certainly be useful for building other things like armor, but most monsters that are weak to Thunder are even weaker to Dragon, and the ones that are weakest to Thunder are the less threatening of the Water monsters anyway... I don't even think I have a Thunder weapon in MH3U, lol. :P

Good points, though I love the look of some of the Thunder Weapons too much to not use them, especially that Chainsaw Katana.

I was about to say Cloud 'n Candy but it was posted already. There's no challenge to the fight, just eat him, and you win.

Now for my contribution: The Level 6 and 7 bosses in the first Zelda game. The orange Gohma is felled with a single arrow just seconds into the room. What's jarring is that the level was punishing with the enemies you had to face. Level 7 is...Aquamentus. The same Aquamentus from Level 1, and not a change has been made. Two Magic Sword swipes and it's dead.

What I mean is what is the boss that just makes you wonder why the creators put them in the game.

In that case, Giga Gaia from Chrono Trigger.  I love that game, and I even love that boss fight...but it's really out of left field and after it was over I was just like, "what the heck was that about?"

The final boss of Infamous: Second Son. I won't spoil it but it's absolutely useless and broken. If you don't want an hour plus of rage the best way to beat it is to hide in a corner.

Probably in Sly 4: Thieves in Time, that Le Paradox guy, The whole game consisted of all this trouble with time traveling and stuff. In the previous Sly games, the final bosses were HARD to me,

No, in Sly 4. honestly it kinda went reverse. The first boss to Le Paradox was hard to easy. The bosses in Sly 4, besides Paradox was pretty challenging, especially Grizz. I took like 5 tries on the Grizz.

Le Paradox was SOOO DISAPPOINTING. I, at first was like "Uh oh, here we go, i'm gonna die like 200 times", but nah, I beat him on the first try, when the previous bosses, I spent like an hour trying to beat -.- Le Paradox caused all the destruction and trouble in Sly 4, but.....he was EASIER THAN THE PREVIOUS ONES? Geez, in the previous Sly games, I remember the final bosses being so HARD.

Sad Man from Earthbound.

His primary attack was being depressed. When he did actually attack, it did a staggering 1 damage.

Easily Bandana Waddle Dee/Arena Waddle Dee from Kirby Super Star/Ultra. He acts just like a normal Waddle Dee (Walking slowly in no specific direction and ocassionally jump), except he has a crapton of health.

One can only wonder how he went from a joke boss, to the ultimate spear-wielding badass he is in Kirby's Return To Dreamland.

I'm going to add Lord Nemeroth from Warhammer 40k: Space Marine to this list.

The battle right before him with his goons was fairly tough, but the battle against him is just a massive QTE while falling off of a tower.

Complete garbage.

Pinwheel from dark souls, you can literally beat him at level 1 with no problem, yet he's meant to be faced halfway through the game. He's arguably the biggest pushover in the the entire series. The sad part is, he'd be considered hard if he were in some other AAA game.

...But that's just my opinion.

One more to add. wrexsoul, also from final fantasy 6. hes WAY easier then they have you think. usually he posses one of you guys and youd normally have to kill off random members of your party til he comes out. but all you have to do is cast xzone on his 2 cronies. if it takes both out at once, its an instant win.
