What went through your mind as you knew you were becoming a brony?

I already gave the full story in "How and when did you become a brony?", but as for what went through my mind during my archive binge using Netflix through the first 3 seasons, I never gave it much thought. All I knew was that I was enjoying the episodes for its characters, moments of funny, heartwarming, awesome, tear-jerking and even scary, and so-on. Although, I did laughed hard when I made the connection of Rainbow Dash discovering "[i'm] an egghead" reading Daring-Do being similar to well, you know.

I went on a huge marathon the first time I watched it.

I was thinking that omg I actually do like the show...I was thinking about bronies and thinking to myself "okay..well..I guess this means I'm one of them".

i went through a denial phase in the first few days. I thought that there is no way that i could seriously consider to be part of this "cult." I hardly tried to forget about the series, but the more i tried, the more i craved for ponies.

 

After 4 or 5 days, i accepted my fate.

Lol My Brother and I started watching it as like a "omg look how girly this crap is!" But then we realized that it was amazing, but the whole time i was enjoying watching this Tv show i was thinking Omg why the hell am i watching this shw.

After I learned more about the brony phenomenon and saw some very short clips from the show I decided to at least give it a fair chance. Despite having reservations about watching a girls cartoon, I had a sneaking suspision that I too would like the show. Turns out I was right.

 

I ended up marathoning all 4 seasons on Netflix over a couple weeks. I was actually a little bummed when I got to the end.
