Favorite radio station

Recommended Posts

Honestly, I don't listen to the radio much right now. I used to all the time like 2 years ago, but I mostly listened to pop. As I've discovered different kinds of music, I haven't been able to find any stations that play them. Maybe there are some on AM, but I really don't feel like looking through all those channels.

Absolute Radio, which I think is 105.8 Fm but I think that's only for London and the Southeast on the UK although you can always listen to it online which is great for work.

Has all the music I listen to along with football news on a Saturday. Plus Radio Poker on a weekday morning is just hilarious!

I usually listen to Wave 105, but I sometime flick over to Capital or Kiss.

Absolute Radio, which I think is 105.8 Fm but I think that's only for London...

It's also available nationally on 1215 AM (varies in places), DAB and on Freeview 727.

Any type of blues radio. Ever since they removed the techno channel from my neck of the woods, I've moved on to my secondary liking. BLUES. So I'll share my favorite blues song.

Ah back when I lived in FlagStaff, 902.9 sure they played the same 10songs over and over... and only changed the 10 songs like every 3 to 4 months... but they picked some really good songs to play over and over.. sure I cant stand those songs anymore and know them by heart but ahh..

Kix Country 98.7 is my local country station and naturally it's my favorite. :mlp_yeehaa: But I also love 105.9 Sunny FM, and I get their silly catch phrase stuck in my head all the time...."Nobody plays more 80s than 105.9 Sunny FM Orlandooooooo!"

Every state has an Edge or a Point. I got sick of radio years ago because it's the same songs over and over. I listen to Coast to Coast AM which is syndicated and you can download the episodes.

This is my new signature.

I like my local 94.1 station.

They play a lot of oldies and classic rock.

Oh, those were the days. It didn't take long for that station to become yet another generic "classics" station that is overrun by 80s cheese. But back when I posted this it not only didn't play ANY 80s, but it played a lot of 60s. Shortly after becoming another mostly 80s station it disappeared. lol

Nowadays there are only two stations I really care for, this "Golden Oldies" station offered through my cable that does not play any 80s and shouldn't ever (thank god) or our local classical station.
