Jeric 46,880 February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 You aren't supposed to hate anything, and anyone who tells you so misses one of the greatest aspects of the show ... it can be approached at so many different angles and perspectives. I have said this before ... FiM is a Rorschach show. Different people will take away a multitude of unique views. Some will love the fan favorites while others loathe them. Some will like the episodes critics can't stand. None of them would be wrong. To say otherwise is like telling an Applejack fan that they picked the wrong favorite character. Moved to Elsewhere 11,331 February 4, 2015 Share February 4, 2015 For one, the hate I see for Mare do Well. It mostly stems from Rainbow Dash acting OOC cause she was too arrogant. Really, she learns from her mistakes, albeit in a kind of questionable way. I also find Rainbow Falls a slight guilty pleasure due to the SoarinDash in it. Oh and Crystal Empire. All I see that's bad in that one is Sombra was slightly underwhelming. Everything else was perfectly fine. Daring Don't: Well weird on the concept manages to be an action packed adventure of a thrill ride Equestria Games: I don't care if there's not enough of the games. And I could go on for hours about how A Canterlot Wedding makes no sense, but damn was it entertaining. It seems like there's always at least one person who's says they hate any given episode or think it's terrible or what have you, but I wouldn't necessarily say that I think any episode is bad. Mind you, there are episodes that I don't particularly like, and I do have least favorites, and I recognize that a lot of episodes have some rather noticeable flaws and faults. For me though, an episode of any show is "bad" if I come away from it wishing I had done something else with my time and feeling like I would have been happier having not seen it. I have never felt that way about an episode of FiM, even after watching my absolute least-favorite episode I always come away from it with a smile on my face. Baby Cakes may be every babysitting cliche we've seen a million times, but it's still not... Terrible. Entertaining. Hearts and Hooves Day is hilarious. I can critique some more than others, and some are certainly more memorable to me, but I'm happy to be watching a MLP episode at all.
