Time for a bit of headcannon!

 

Seeing as humans have hands instead of hooves, talons or claws, they are capable of playing far more complex musical numbers - provided they can play any instruments, and have enough skill.

 

Granted, Equestrians are no strangers to music and have an array of instruments, but there's no way a pair of hooves can trump a pair of human hands!

 

That said, I plan on (somehow) having Colette learn and play a few Equestrian songs, so as to make a few horsey bits and garner fame both in Equestria and on Earth!

Methinks perhaps thy application doth seem wrought ere with stalwart ridicule, perhaps insipidly clever amusement.  Either is perhaps excessively under-appreciated, at least pertaining to this particular juncture.

 

I only had a little trouble reading it, for what it's worth... but I'm kinda weird - I thought it was nifty.  To answer your question about the Backstory, treat it more like a 'Cliff Notes' version of the general running canon storyline of the character.  It's typically used in this instance as proof of knowing about them... or proving to be willing to do the research.  It also gives a more accurate reflection *giggle* of how your spelling and grammar will look in your posts.

I said that last time, but I did the one thing I didn't want the RP do: I let it die off again.

 

It's a bit of a story, but I'll give you all the short version:

 

Real life's been nothing but absolute hell for me these past few months. I got a new job, but it's a total piece of shit, so I've been focusing on finding another one, but with all the effort I put in to find something better, I either get offers for something worse, or rejected outright.

 

So, I'm gonna stop wasting so much time on the job hunt and try and inject some life back in this roleplay!
