Have you ever bought or plan to get a game system just for one game? I mean some systems have some exclusive games and did you find one you were dying to play so you bought an entire system just for one particular game(maybe two but usually one).

 

For me I plan to get a PS4 but the only game I'm interested in is Kingdom Hearts III. It's just one of the game series I would kill for.

I'm buying a Dreamcast for Shenmue, and a PS3 for Uncharted, among a few other things. Also, 3DS because ACNL, but there are a lot more factors here.

PS4 for Bloodborne.  Then it turned out that the online connectivity was turrible (~30 minutes to find a PvP match) so I didn't have much to do after I finished the main game 

 

The main game is a blast but the online play is practically nonexistent.

I did this twice. One was my Xbox 360 which I originally got for the Kinect... I was an idiot

The other was my PS3 which I bought to play Beyond: Two Souls.

 

Now, I use them equally for other things.

Yes.  I bought the 3DS mainly for Kid Icarus Uprising. Luckily things changed and there are soo many good games for the system that I don;t regret even i the slightest for buying the 3ds.

For me I want to get a ps4 for J-Stars Victory VS. But with Naruto Storm 4 coming out soon and Kingdom Hearts 3 coming out in the future makes me excited in getting a ps4.

I got my mom a 3DS XL solely so she could play Animal Crossing.  She has millions of Bells in the bank, at this point.  I might buy an Xbox One largely so I can play the new Killer Instinct. xD

I bought both the original Xbox and the 360 just for Halo. And while my Xbox is still pretty light on games(though I got some gems like Crimson Skies and Panzer Dragoon Orta), my 360 has my one of the biggest library of games along side the PS1/2, Gamecube and 3DS

Sort of? I'm planning to get a Wii U just to play Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, which is kinda funny to say as the game arrived in my mail today. But the Wii U I'm getting also comes with Splatoon, which I am unsure if I ever want to play it. I've heard plenty of positive things about Splatoon though, so I guess may play it as well once I get it.

 

I do plan on getting more Wii U games though, but the games I want have yet to be released.

This mirrors me. New Leaf made it to where I HAD to have to a 3DS. Luckily I found an XL for cheap and in near perfect condition. :3 Got lucky with that. 

 

That was nearly 2 years ago. To this day I still have only 3 actual 3DS games. 

 

On another note, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle was my main motivation for getting a Nintendo Gamecube. Friggin' love the Chao garden in that game.
