Gen III use to be my favorite, but damn it if Gen VI didn't win me over...

Pokemon Gens II & III were by far my favorites of them all. Gold & Silver though... they gave some much gameplay in those games and re-playability that they will always be my favorites in the entire series.

I never got to play any of the games from Gen I or II, and still need to play X and Y...  My favourite generation from what I have played would have to be Gen IV; I loved the music from it (D/P/Pl especially), and I felt a lot of interesting Pokemon were introduced in that generation. And... Team Galactic is best team~ <3

My favorite Pokemon generation is gen IV. Diamond and Pearl had a lot of cool Pokemon and evolutions to previous generations of Pokemon in my opinion. It was also fun going around and exploring the different locations in the Sinnoh region.

Generations 5 and 3 for me.

5 due to it generally being the most fun I had out of the generations and the larger emphasis on story with Team Plasma then there has been in most Pokemon games as well as having likable and memorable characters such as N, Cheren, and Bianca.

Plus in my opinion gen 5 has the best post game activities especially that of the Pokemon World Tournament.

While the Hoenn region just has this certain charm that I really appreciate from it.

Generation V is my favorite of Pokémon which might be the most controversial but it's got my favorite story, Unova was fun to traverse in, Black and White 2 are my favorite games of all time because of the amount of content, and my favorite Pokémon Keldeo came from that generation even though a lot of bad ones came out too. Now I actually can still play any Pokémon game except for Red and Blue because they are slow and FireRed and LeafGreen play so much better. I can still play Yellow because it seems to play a little faster and you start as Pikachu. I also really enjoy Gen 2, 3, their remakes, 4, and 6 as well.
