I wouldn't follow a thread purely because I started it, only if I was really interested in what the replies might be.

I follow threads such as episodes, fan clubs, and one of them I like; notifications they replied I have for at least.

I typically will follow topics I make so that I can see how people reply. I generally do not follow others' topics.

I don't actually, sometimes I just create a thread and check on it if it has activity every now and then. If it slows to a halt I just forget about it later

No, I don't. I very rarely create topics anyway, but I only follow them in certain cases (like when I post in Site Questions). Otherwise, I just go back to look at them occasionally.

I don't follow such topics because I don't post topics of my own. If I want to post a new thread i ask someone else on here to do it for me. I've had too many bad experiences posting topics on another site; now I'm gun shy.

Even though I’ve overcome my shyness about posting my own topics, I still don’t follow them. If I happen to see them come up here or there I take a look to see who’s posted, but that’s all really. I don’t follow any topics here of any kind. I keep it loose and casual.
