Favourite ships/shipping fanfics?

I was wondering what everyone's favourite ship is in the MLP world?

And if anyone has any recommendations for some good shipping fanfics?

 

Incase you dont know, shipping is where you adore the thought of two ponies together (e.g. Rarity and Big Mac) and so you 'ship' them

Rarity x Twilight

Monochromatic's my go-to guy for these types of fics. One of my favorites of his is The Enchanted Library.

 

Celestia x Pinkie

It's a ridiculous ship and I love it. Twice as Bright by Cloudy Skies was a decent read.

 

Chrysalis x Luna

Another ridiculous proposition that I can't help but adore. And it's all thanks to Pumpernickel Rye's The Queen of Hearts. Good times.

 

I ship practically everything; these three are just the first to come to mind.

My favourite shipping fanfiction is some SpikeBloom story.

 

I really love DiamondBloom!

My headcanon is that the reason DT is mean to the CMC, in particular Applebloom, is because she's jealous that Applebloom has a very close family, and the DT's parents are always busy and just buy her things to make her happy. Then they'd somehow start dating and the apple family would treat her like family and that's all she's ever wanted. <3

They're both written by DawnFade, and DawnFade is one of the best fic writers ever, in my opinion. These stories are fantastic.

SunDagio. I am NOT into fanfic in general, at least not until recently. I am much less into shipping, but dammit this fic had me! Gripping and very well written. It's the third in a VERY decent series by SkycatcherEQ about Sunset Shimmer and the Sirens after Rainbow Rocks. The only reason I started reading it is because I am a massive fan of Rainbow Rocks and was fascinated by the concept of the Sirens adapting to a new life, and this is a very nice take on it.

There is a part where I was like "…OH NO, where is this going?" 

But it didn't stretch too far

The Life and Times of a Winning Pony by Chengar Qordath is a great fics that has the background pony Cloudkicker with a few other well known and background mares. Not a love triangle but a love square.

 

Eternal by device heretic is the ultimate Twilestia fic. Focus on immortality and not necessarily romance.

Well, I suppose my favorite ship would be Twidash... but I don't read many fanfictions. :/

 

But, my friend DID recommend a Rainbow Dash x Spitfire fic, called "Raining Fire". I thought it was pretty cute.

As you can see, I'm a very big fan of Fluttershy x Bulk Biceps. However, I don't really read fanfics, and especially not shipping fanfics.
