Seriously, all I'm doing is providing the world - it's the PLAYERS that make it a true story.  I've enjoyed all the back and forth with you folks, and I am overjoyed to hear that others are appreciating our collaborative effort.

 

Plus, mayhem.  LOTS of mayhem.

 

At any rate, I'm glad to see folks are still interested in this story, and I certainly hope that we continue to entrtain both our readers and each other for quite some time to come.

Well, this is a pleasant surprise, @Hazard Time - I didn't expect this.  (You must be a reserve member of the Spanish Inquisition!)

 

Okay, let's have a look at the Baroness, shall we?  *opens file*

However, I would ask that at least two others approve of her before I let her in; this way, it's a chance to give others a look at what's coming.  @Blitz Boom, @Mentis Soliloquy, @cwhip9 and @DwhitetheGamer, I'm talking to YOU.  Once that happens, we can have you entering the quarry by the next day - which, F.E.I., will be after the situation with Ziggy and Scar is finished.

 

Plus, due to my upcoming hiatus, should give folks until Monday or Tuesday to post their decisions.

This will be my 21st year in a row volunteering at Dragon*Con, here in (kinda) beautiful Downtown Atlanta.  I'll be working Security, so I'll be spending the weekend checking badges, watching for shoplifters and telling folks to clear the room at the end of panels.

 

Plus, I'll be sitting in on a couple of those panels, as well - one on how kids shows have gotten more adult over the last few decades, and then the funny/thought-provoking/just plain WEIRD video clip panel on Saturday Night, known affectionately as "Son Of...".

 

It'll be fun... but it's also a LOT of work for me, and I don't come home 'til it's done.

 

I usually attend with three changes of clothes, a single backpack and less than 20$ in my pocket - yet, due to friends, co-workers and Stupid Human Tricks,  I always seem to come home with something for the kids and wifey.

 

I might bring pictures back this time!

If you go to the addy above, check out the guest list; we've got Shatner, the MST3K folks, almost all of DC's Legends Of Tomorrow and Arrow, and a grand handful of stars!

 

Though, in past years, we've had nearly the entire cast of Star Trek (any gen), Star Wars, Firefly, Buffy, X-Files... and we've had Stan "The Man" Lee himself a few times.  I just like walking the Walk of Fame and seeing them with my own eyes; it's an experience!

 

Y'know, I'll actually TRY to get some pics for you folks!  Maybe I'll even be in one or two!

Also it would give cresent anther pony for cresent to interact with inbetween running in and out of the mine so welcome abord just don't forget the hard hat explosions are frequent

So now that I'm off work and at a computer, I can go more in-depth about what I was planning for this.  Carnelian will mostly be doing interacting with the "higher ups", namely the Blackwater family.  However, with everyone's permission, I'd also like to bring in a second character named Low Key, who happens to be Carnelian's ward/secretary/kept-stallion, and he'll be her intermediary between herself and the "common" ponies.  I don't have a profile up for him yet, but as soon as I get an okay to the concept, I'll go ahead and do that!

@Hazard Time, I can certainly see an assistant to work with... again, I'll ask that this get approved by at least two folks as well, but Vylia DOES have Beck and Call... so I don't see why another OC can't have an assistant.
