Does anyone know how I can implement Void my Changeling into this RP somehow? Me and Randi have no ideas and because of no strong reason to add him as of yet I can't really join ahah ^3^

First thing that comes to mind is to keep an eye on the workers. Changelings can be just about anyone (potentially hiding as objects too?) and could be here and there to make sure Luther's law was kept in the quarry.

 

After the recent resurgence of the mine-cart race that he didn't know about, and the current situation where he isn't sure who fired a rocket into his office, the need to have a pair of eyes in the quarry might become greater for him, but most regular ponies can be kept in check, as everypony will soon know who to look out for. Which in turn means only a few gets caught in anything.

 

Then there's Void Crawler. He can't be pinned as the snitch easily as he could be hiding amongst them at any time, and the paranoia would lessen anything unsavory happening in general, which in turn keeps things more orderly.

 

I will say though, Void will not be liked much in this build, but as a changeling I assume he is somewhat used to it and doesn't take it so heavily anymore.

 

And if we think that changelings are hated in general and they wouldn't be allowed to work, remember that *king* Thorax (I don't like him) have opened a more open and inclusive line with the ponies, and as such, changelings would likely have laws on their side from the princesses by now, permitting them to integrate into society a little by little. Luther might just eye an opportunity from an applicant.

That would work beautifully!  Especially after rockets flying about today?  Yeah, if Luther doesn't hire on someone to keep an eye on folks, then Vylia would!  The level of shenanigans lately has been rather high (*coughWATERTOWERcough*), so I could certainly see a use for someone such as a changeling to provide the stealth necessary to catch someone else in the act.

 

Plus, there's all the potential drama, too: WILL he tell the Boss?  Does HE have his own agenda?  Could ANYONE be the changeling?

 

I'll admit, going this direction with it wouldn't earn you many friends, true - people don't care for snitches - but also keep in mind that playing a non-standard role can certainly net you some non-standard situations, too.  Heck, as an informant, you might not make friends with the likes of Knee Slapper or Chuck List... but it DOES open up potential to get more buddy-buddy with Redd Handid, or perhaps even give you chances to interact more with the Blackwaters themselves.

 

I suppose my question here is, what do YOU want to get involved in, @Handsome Changeling?  What kinds of stories would you like to be a part of?

Blitz Boom man, you actually are a genius how did I not think of that as a role for a Changeling, espionage is their thing!

Well Randimaxis, I do feel that role and story would suit Void well, he could easily just take the form of a normal looking brown Earth pony, or a simple pegasus worker and be a reliable source for spy duty it would make total sense! May I ask of these shenanigans I am kinda intrigued now ahah, or should I read through the RP and find it?

@Handsome Changeling, reading through the RP is what I'd suggest, as it'd refresh you to the story-at-hoof... but I think it'd be a ton-o'-fun if I ask the others here if any of THEM want to give you a recap.

Just a minor side-note if I may? Whilst going for a simple disguise normally would work well, try to mix and match forms, to keep them guessing, and at times go with the form of others that they know. They'll learn soon to be on edge around new faces only if it tends to go around the same pony, though having a base form that they don't suspect and can mingle normally ain't a bad idea. Guess we'll see how this goes.

Hope y'all liked what I did for the bolt, I figured with the quarry being well mysterious and secretive and all, there'd be things like specialised parts with magic (possibly dark) infused into them, and it'll also give Clocky something to investigate

I'm really sorry for my lack of activity in this thread.  This term has been exceptionally rough on me, and I find myself lacking the time and/or energy to do much RPing anymore.  I don't want to simply pull my characters out of here with no fair warning, but my response time is going to suffer greatly.  I'll try and get out a reply at the next opportunity, whenever that might be.
