H'OH BOY. The worst is when you complete the story, and you are like, barely clearing 50% and you scream at the game "WHAT ELSE AM I SUPPOSED TO DO, BEAT IT 3 MORE TIMES?" Some games have so many secrets I just say "Screw this" after a while and move on.

I always try for 100%.

However it's a matter of giving up and getting bored.

If you look at a game like Fallout 3, not looking at trophies, I will not 100% it because I get bored fairly easily.

Most modern games either are too easy to 100% and then focus on multiplayer, or are too forced like Fallout or Skyrim.

My OCD compels me to go for 100%

Sadly it's only in video games that I have OCD :( lol

There isn't a game I haven't finished playing that isn't 100-125% (#-125% because sometimes there's DLCs that are weird and because the Devs get lazy they just make the achievement % above 100% :P)

Only slackers complete a level with 4/5 stars...

I unlock all content and finish the game with "Swag" as my rating.

Am I the only one that doesn't really care for 100%, no, just that there's no point when a game tells you, you beat it, you beat it.

Only if it's a game I like.

Nope. I NEVER go for 100%. It's just not fun to me trying to get every little thing. I usually just try to complete the game and move on to something else. The only games I've found myself going back to and collecting stuff, doing side missions, etc. is Zelda. Zelda is my favorite series so I love going back, exploring, and looking for stuff I missed. Even then though, I don't go for 100%. It just gets tedious and boring.

Attaining 100% completion is a bit too excessive. Halo: Reach, despite the fact of its infamous features bashed by the community itself, is the only game I have achieved 100%. I didn't target this completion for 100% intentionally, I though it was fairly easy and fun, so I just went on through with it anyways.

I go for 100% then I make it 20% cooler. That turns it into some number I can't even name.

Depends on the game really, particularly if the game tells you how much you've completed, like a Metroid game for instance- I've 100%ed Metroid Prime 2, Prime 3 and Other M because it was easy to tell when I got everything in them. I tend to not 100% stuff like side scrolling platformers though, I prefer to just play straight through those. :P

Almost never. It's not really worth the effort imo.

No prize most of the time and the whole "Feeling of accomplishment" does nothing for me when I have to work THAT hard for it.

100% is not for me at all, I stay as far away from it as possible. Doesn't mean I don't do optional stuff but I don't strive to do it if I don't feel like it. I'll probably never beat Emerald and Ruby weapon in FFVII, Ozma in FFIX, 120 stars in Super Mario Galaxy, etc.

Just not worth the effort when I could spend the time trying to 100% a game playing another game.

Nope and the reason being is that most of the time they feel like cheap filling to justify a 60 dollar investment without the need to add more to gameplay.

I haven't even fully beaten many of my games, let alone go to 100% on them. I have KH 1 and 2 up to 95 % in the story and I won't finish them, the same story with many other games I have. Why do I do this, I think the medic can answer that question for me...

Everything depends on whether I enjoyed the gameplay or not :P

The only games I've 100% completed so far is Persona 3/4 and Ar Tonelico series. Because they got this weird 'sense of accomplishment' whenever you collected something new. Not just merely another number in the status bar

There are only four games i think i ever went for 100% on (ACHIEVEMENT wise. I haven't ever bothered with getting everything if it comes down to multiplayer rank), and those were CoD: MW2 (simply because it was easy), Halo: Reach (i was one achievement away before the latest map pack. Just had to get the 1million FF point one), Just Cause 2 (i was going for that because i just loved playing that game), and Halo 3. I don't think i could force my way through games that have multiplayer ranks AND achievements, there are just to darn many generally.
