I'm gonna be honest, that was first time I've (properly) listened to a Sonic Youth song. It was nice. Almost reminds me of Amesoures  Almost.

The Chameleons "Script Of The Bridge" is a such a fantastic post-punk/goth rock album, yet I never see people discussing it. I'm not just talking about here either, I can't recall seeing it mentioned on any music site I frequent.

Welcome to the forum's Prog Rock thread!

 

One day, some artists got bored of that pop music, so they decided to create something epic. While the style mostly only lasted ten years, it was probably the most creative period in music history!

 

This wonderful style regroup a bunch of great artists, like Genesis, Pink Floyd, Rush, but also obscure bands and subgenres, like Jazz Rock and Prog Metal.

While I'm more well known as a Deathcore, Metal enthusiast, I love me some Prog, and yes, Rush is the greatest band of all time. The holy triumvirate! I've seen them four times, and I'd've never picked up a bass had it not been for Geddy Lee.
