While I'm more well known as a Deathcore, Metal enthusiast, I love me some Prog, and yes, Rush is the greatest band of all time. The holy triumvirate! I've seen them four times, and I'd've never picked up a bass had it not been for Geddy Lee.

 

But no pony wants to be redundant, so here's Periphery:

 

Exactly what I am as well though I never seen Rush live though...

Definitely. Bohemian Rhapsody is definitely prog. Get a large group of friends and start singing it. Good times guaranteed.

 

I haven't pored over Queen's entire discography, but the title track from "Innuendo", their last album with Freddy, is progressive and it friggin' rocks.  Steve Howe of Yes plays one of the guitar solos.

Yep, of course! My favorite from them is Schism and 46&2. But I still haven't really explored this group.

im not very schooled in rock since i prefer hip hop, however i am very engaged to swans, which from what some people tell me, could be considered prog rock.
