gaming Boss fights you can beat, but you know you will never master.

I feel bad. I can't beat Sepriroth on KH 1.5 on normal mode. Even at level 78. So I figure I ask if there are any bosses you can beat with just memorizing and continual losses, but you know you can't master them. I beat bosses like a cake walk that some people despise. My brother for example finds my easy to be his hard and with me it's vice versa. Post your gaming failures and be a cynic like me :)

This may seem kind of silly, but... Metal Man, from Megaman 2, because I always do his level first, and it's difficult without a special weapon... I always have trouble with the dragon fight on the first Wily level, too...

I also have trouble on the Larxene fight in KH 2.5.

And Xehanort, from KH Birth by Sleep...

Dang, I just suck at video games in general, don't I...?

Someone please tell me that I'm not alone on these fights

Nyx Avatar from Persona 3.  Night Queen is such a pain in the ass and has so much RNG associated with it.

Moon Lord from Terraria.  It's basically bullet hell mixed with a phantasmal deathray that can almost one-shot you.

Manus, the Father of the Abyss from Dark Souls.  He always kills me at least once no matter how many times I've fought him.  His attacks are just so weird and unpredictable.

Darklurker from Dark Souls 2.  Random magic attacks that deal MASSIVE damage.  And the second form doesn't help as she duplicates herself for double the fun!

Fume Knight from Dark Souls 2, Crown of the Old Iron King.  I've beaten him multiple times but he ALWAYS kills me at least twice.  Especially on NG+ when he starts one-shotting you with every attack.

There are many more that I'll never master, but these boss fights are a fun challenge nonetheless.

I can beat Galacta Knight in Kirby Super Star Ultra, but i'll never master the bastard. Seriously, he's just too unpredictable.

Have the courage to think and act on your own. And have the courage to disobey.

The infamous Master Core from Super Smash Bros. It can be really hard to predict what it's next move will be and how to dodge them, especially at Intensity 9.0. It's attacks are random so you must be prepared and not leave your guard down at all times.

The sounds of sobbing were heard from Ross' bedroom that night, as he tried desperately to beat Master Core...

And you could hear him say to himself,

"Why do I suck at video games? Why? WHY?!?!?!"

Why indeed, Ross...

Pew, what a work out.  My 6th try, but hey it's better than nothing. I'm not gonna lie though, his third phase of attack patterns is not hard to dodge. Equiping MP rage makes the fight a tad easier. Now I have Xemnas to take care of and I am going to beat the game.

I can beat Jubileus (the FINAL boss) on Bayonetta 1, but it's the only boss fight on there I can never get perfectly. Of course you have to defeat her while avoiding some very annoying obstacles, and then you have to avoid planets to crash her into the sun. Hardest thing ever, especially as the difficulty goes up!

Bospider from Megaman X. Funny enough his name is a portmanteau of Boss and Spider. Creative. :P He is a boss that I know I can beat after a few tries, but I can never seem to get good at his patterns, he is so unpredictable and I always have some sort of trouble with him. Always dreaded him when I was younger. :P

This spoiler contains content from Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg. If you are playing that game and don't want to hear anything about the game that you haven't gotten to yet, don't click.

In Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg, the second Emblem of Courage in World 6, Sand Ruins, has a powerful boss named Dark Corvo. He takes previous bosses, turns them into shadows, makes them fight you, and then he's vulnerable. After a few shadow bosses, he multiplies into many of himself, and if you hit the real one, he's vulnerable. The thing is, there's a lot of clones and they hit so hard that your eggs are guaranteed to break. There's also no way to tell which is the real one, it only comes down to luck.

Far too many Kingdom Heart bosses to name, but especially Larxene. I have yet to figure out if she has anything even resembling a pattern I can learn to avoid her spam-happy attacks.

King K Rool from DKC 2. You can memorize the patterns...but getting the jumps right...eesh...

Egg Emperor from Sonic Heroes. Even though he's a huge spammer, it's still hard because you've also got to take care of his minions as well...

Well, I can beat Dark Gaia on Sonic Unleashed... it's not too much of a challenge on the Xbox360 version. But on Wii version? That's a different story. Once and only once have I ever beaten that boss. It's really difficult! Sure, the Wii version of the game is inferior to the Xbox version (and I own both versions), but it sure sure copped the most difficult final boss. You can't really earn yourself an extra life by collecting rings; the only thing they're used for is building up your boost meter to attack the boss. And even when you've got enough rings, Dark Gaia's attacks are quick, and one is near impossible to dodge unless you know exactly what area of the screen to fly to. Not to mention the fact that it's very hard to lock onto the target (one of his seven eyeballs). When I beat it, I ran around the room shouting with joy, but I knew that was one boss fight I'd never, ever master.

Wow, what a story.

Well, I'm still stuck on K. Rool's final boss in Donkey Kong Country for the Super Nintendo.

I've tried a few times, but dang...the timing. And what makes me the most mad, is like...that game came out when I was super young

and other kids beat it...10 year olds beat it, but me as an adult? no chance...*sigh...soon.

The Elite Four in Pokémon (they'd count as a boss, right? :P)

I almost always have trouble with them. I'm not sure what X and Y is like, but the Elite Four is always a challenge for me. Cuz I always spend hours buying revives and medicine while also figuring out what lineup of pokémon I'll use and training them for days just so they are all at an equal level and are on the sane ball park as the Four's pokémon. I try using a system, but it's no good. I always end up losing constantly cuz of something I forgot, like paralysis heals. Plus, I get stressed thinking that I gotta beat them all in one go and if I fail, it's back to the start

I know others have no bother, but I'm not very good at the game, so I just can never seem to master this part. I always win by sheer trial and error. And by the time I am able to beat them, I don't even know what I did different XD

Any boss fight from Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

Tell me about it.

I think all I did for all those boss fights was hide and spam grenades/typhoon over and over until it was GG.  If I remember correctly the typhoon augment was super OP.

The Quick Man Doc Robot from Mega Man 3 without using any Robot Master weapons. Playing like this makes the game more challenging, it is fun, and when you finally beat it, you can feel the sense of accomplishment.

If this counts:

The last 4 Boss Cars from Rage Racer. Ive seen lets play footage on how to beat them, but i tried over 100 times and still cant do it...and probably never will

EDIT : Okay, misread the topic XD

Boss fights i can beat but suck at:

God from Silent Hill 3 and Walter Sullivan from Silent Hill 4 .

I always take to long or get a bad ending.
