It's really happening! People have been talking about it for years but Ace Attorney is finally being adapted into an anime. I'm so hyped I can't even describe it <3

Any other fans of the series excited for this?

My wife told me about this the other day and all I can say is: yes.

I also need to get through the last 3 games because this franchise is well deserving of an anime.

Cool, I wonder if this will ever be dubbed or will it remain untranslated like Ace Attorney Investigations 2. Before anyone suggests to just watch the subs, I find it hard to enjoy a show when I'm looking at the bottom of the screen and concentrating on reading. On another note, they better not screw this up.

I've only played the one on the 3DS, but I've been meaning to play the others for a long time. The franchise being turned into an anime might just give me enough of a kick to finally play the rest of the games, and of course I'll be watching the anime too, so excited!  :pinkie:

Please make Franziska as hilarious as possible. And with as many 'foolish fools' as possible.

I'm most excited to see how much subtext they can slip in with Edgeworth and Phoenix. Also, I'm excited to see how they portray Matt Engarde and Fulbright, the two of those were badass. I'd hug someone if they pull this anime off correctly!

Have the courage to think and act on your own. And have the courage to disobey.

The inner fanboy within has reached a hyped state beyond what words can describe. This is going to be awesome! The series is perfect for this sort of adaptation, it's mostly driven by solid storytelling and interesting characters.

Now all we need is Strider, Metal Gear Solid, Chrono Trigger, Skies of Arcadia, Bloody Roar and Shenmue as anime adaptions. Japan seriously needs to make them happen.

Technically speaking there was a Chrono Trigger "anime" of sorts.

It was a single OVA that featured none of the actual characters sadly, but used the Chrono Trigger universe as a setting. Sadly, this was basically all we got, plus those cutscenes that were in the PS1+ versions of the game.

Then they need to revive it, but with real plot with real characters, AND with real settings.

Every day I hope and pray for more content in the Chrono franchise as it's my favorite game of all time and Chrono Cross just didn't feel like it was up to snuff. When E3 2015 came and they used Chrono Trigger music in the hype video I was so excited, only to be disappointed again. Sadly it looks like Square Enix has no plans for the Chrono Franchise at this moment and probably won't until after FF7 remake and KH3. Still what we DID get which Chrono Trigger was great at the very least.

As far as Pheonix Wright goes, I am on Ace Investigations 1, I only have Ace Investigations 2, Apollo Justice and Dual Destinies to go. The Professor Layton crossover isn't canon from what I understand and Dai Gyakuten Saiben is not coming to English speaking parts of the world similar to Ace Investigations 2. Unlike Ace Investigations 2 though, since that title is on the 3DS the chances of a fan translation are fairly low due to the increased security on the 3DS vs. the original DS. A fan translation may take considerably longer than Ace Investigations 2.

The good news is that Ace Attorney 6 IS planned to be released in the US, but Capcom is rather stupid with this series sometimes. It's a story driven game series and they purposely leave certain games unreleased in the US.

Capcom had pretty much deluded themselves into money more than their own fans. They would selfishly turn down on their own fans for their personal gains. A shame, really.
