Shadow Beam 1,179 September 28, 2015 Share September 28, 2015 (edited) Here in Argentina we are already enjoying this rare event. I would be filthy prevaricator if I didn't acknowledge that my bigotry for best pony Luna is making this a thousand times better. melody5697 195 September 28, 2015 Share September 28, 2015 I'm watching it right now. It doesn't turn REALLY red until it's completely in the earth's shadow. It's almost there where I am.
-Octavia- 1,176 September 28, 2015 Share September 28, 2015 Ah, was looking for this thread. 'Twas a brilliant sight from Boston. Blood Moon indeed. It looked better viewing it with the naked eye rather than my telescope, though... :/ Aria Rosewood
melody5697 195 September 28, 2015 Share September 28, 2015 (edited) I pretended to freak out about it on Y!A earlier and a top contributor called Hollypaw claims that the moon is white like it normally is and that I must be in the Twilight Zone. I should've expected this from the girl who said my teddy bear was just being overprotective when he killed two of my dolls. -Octavia- 1,176 September 28, 2015 Share September 28, 2015 (edited) That...is a brilliant sense of humor. Well, next eclipse won't occur until 2033, and who knows where in the world it will be seen? 10InTheTardis 509 September 28, 2015 Share September 28, 2015 The moon is completely orange here in Nova Scotia. It looks awesome, I wish I had more than some binoculars to see it. Hello! Moved to Elsewhere 11,331 September 28, 2015 Share September 28, 2015 I saw it and it was pretty darn amazing. It was a cool process to see the moon eclipse and then turn orange. Though it is hard to get a picture of it.
Odyssey 5,716 September 28, 2015 Share September 28, 2015 (edited) You guys are so lucky. I wish I could see the lunar eclipse as well, but unfortunately I'll have to wait till it gets here in Australia. melody5697 195 September 28, 2015 Share September 28, 2015 I tried to take a picture to send to a friend who's too busy to watch, but it wouldn't even show up. I wonder how long until it's finally completely in the umbra. There's still just a tiny bit of yellowish white at the edge. It was on the right, but now it's on the bottom... Varrack 1,080 September 28, 2015 Author Share September 28, 2015 Nothing happened! I mean, the Moon turned orange, but...idk. I guess I was expecting something really awesome. An orange moon sounds cool but in reality it isn't spectacular I guess.
melody5697 195 September 28, 2015 Share September 28, 2015 I thought this was supposed to be a complete eclipse but it wasn't! I can't believe I just wasted all this time hoping to see something that never happened! This is just like eight years ago! At least I just saw a UFO. Well, it might have just been a plane, but if I tell myself it was a UFO, this won't feel like a COMPLETE waste of time.

melody5697 195 September 28, 2015 Share September 28, 2015 I regret nothing. Except the impending doom. ...Impending doom? What are you talking about? Does that mean the person who gave a really bizarre answer to the question I asked on Y!A (https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20150927185751AAHsSFk#) was serious? Or is this supposedly one of the "signs in the sun, moon, and stars" mentioned in the Bible?
