What's it called? I'm willing to brave the dark corners of my mind if it means a midnight sojourn to Equestria with every slumber! . . . . I'm probably going to regret saying that.

 

It's called All About Dreams by Gayle Delaney. The book is actually mostly on interpreting dreams, but there is a section on inducement. It's actually quite simple. I can write a quick summary and maybe save you the trouble of reading it.

 

1. Choose a night where your mind is clear and you're not overly tired

 

2. Write about what you did that day somewhere to clear your mind of all of the events

 

3. Think about what you want your dream to be about, why, how you are feeling while thinking about this, is this for a good reason, are you scared of what you might find, and other questions you can come up with. Write all that down.

 

4. Write a quick one line question (you can use dreams to solve problems) or request that sums up the dream you want to have. Make it simple but effective. Try different phrases before picking one that works the best in your mind.

 

5. Repeat the phrase you picked over and over until you fall asleep.

 

6. Sleep. That's pretty easy.

 

7. Record your dream and interpret it. This is probably the hardest part because dreams can be really metaphorical and almost impossible discern the true meaning. And that's why the rest of the book is about how to interpret dreams.

I've never had a pony dream, but I would love to have one. Maybe one night I'll fall asleep watching ponies and something will come to me... I hope so! <3

I've had a few but can't really remember most of them, but here are two dreams I recently have involving ponies:

• I had a dream that I was mayor of Ponyville for a day, it was AWESOME.
• I had this really weird dream where I was Fluttershy and my boyfriend was Big Mac, it was kinda cute though. I'm pretty sure I was reading fan fics before I fell asleep...

I've never been able to control what dream I have when I sleep. I can only control the dream itself once I'm in it, with about a 70 to 75 percent success rate.

 

But I did find out one thing about the dreams I have. All of my dreams, every one of them, are connected. There's like, some sort of city or hub that literally contains every dream I've ever had. I started mapping the place out, and it seems to be divided by a bridge that is broken into sections (somehow, every car in the city can get over the gaps).

 

So while I can't affect the three dreams thing to get FiM to do something with giving the characters new powers for real, I have been able to explore large sections of my dream world. And when I'm dreaming, I tend to remember things from my previous dreams too, even when I can't remember them while I'm awake.

*Pinkie Pie-esque gasp* I just had a pony dream last night where me and Twilight were super close.

 

Many may say a little too close, thought I've been having tons of those dreams ever since I read "Twi and me" (and I wouldn't want any other dream)

I had a dream that Big Mac and Fluttershy were kissing (The romantic kind, not the dirty kind ). The amount of d'aaaawwwwssss overwhelmed me and I woke up right after that .

So far, parts of the city have been attacked by dragons and ninjas (not the Naruto-esque ones either, the Ninja Gaiden variety). Don't ask me why ninjas would be teamed up with dragons though, because I'm not sure about that one.

I remember dreaming that I was waiting for a bus in some dirty downtown bus terminal and saw an odd bunch also waiting for it that consisted of Derpy with a large packageon her back and looked very protective of the package, my teacher from the fourth grade, a friend I haven't seen since middle school, my great aunt and a guy who looked like Tom Araya. It seemed like a normal crowd waiting for the bus, nothing out of the ordinary. Then the bus had arrived, the earth began to shake and I woke up.

Had another false awakening with a little pony.

Except I was in a cartoony-looking bed instead of my real one, and I could see it was a pegasus with a Fluttershy mane. The rest was identical to the previous dream - the filly cradled in my arm and breathing against my neck.

I didn't have real pony dreams in the last weeks but I had a few pony cameos in my dreams. One time Pinkie arrived at a house party of mine, one time I met Twilight in the University and some more ponies in the background. And I had one dream where I owned a few Brony shirts including one with a derpy motive, a twilight sparkle one, and one with "Supermare"(a mare that looked a bit like a ponified version of the Superman girl in Fausts new show)

As a little side story to my massively long, sustained dream last night, I don't know how but I must have saved Fluttershy's life. She then transformed into a human, was naked, then gave me a big hug *thumbs up*

i had a dream the other night where i was flying with rainbow dash in a war, i was my OC, and we were both at the front of the assault. We were useing hoof mounted claws/swords, best thing i can reference it to is guardians of gahool, we were fighting the griffons, massive aerial battles took place. The most prominent one i can remember was me and RBD fighting over this massive thundercloud useing the Thunder head as cover. The griffons came at us in force, i flanked left rbd went right we both had our hooves full, but we managed to trick them into flying through the clouds, and all you could see was massive lightning strikes destroying the enemy ranks. But i was cocky and wasn't watching my flank. A single griffon managed to get a good hit on me, broke one of my wings... Last thing i saw before waking up was me falling towards equestria with a large rainbow racing towards me.

 

*this is just my most recent pony dream, i have lots others, not so violent*
