A small mare stepped off a train and walked out of the station. In front of her was a large building illuminated in the early morning light. She checked her watch she had half an hour until the school opened so she lay on a wall and used her wings to shield herself from the rain. She looked over at the station waiting for anypony else to arrive.

Sappy was sitting in the train. A cup of green tea in his right hand, and a smoking pipe in the other. "This tea tastes horrible, don't you agree chap?" Said Sappy. He placed the tea back on the table. "Well Kito, looks like we will soon arrive at our new job, eh?" Said Sappy as he looked outside the window. The train pulled up to the station, and everyone got out. Sappy had to crouch to get out, because of his huge frame. His dragon wings flared out to protect him and Kito from the rain. He looked at the new school "This school is pretty big, which means i might finally be able to fit inside the doors" Said Sappy with a chuckle, and walked towards the school

Kito waddled under protection from the rain, Trying to avoid any pools of water covering the ground that might result in his fur getting wet. Kito wasn't too keen about rain, Nor water in any way. He adjusted his monocle as he carefully inspected the huge building infront of him. The sheer size of the building was a bit baffling to him, And his already large blue eyes grew wider.

 

One thing was a bit out of place though, He notices a lone mare standing by the side of the building. He looked up at his fellow gentleman as well as pointing towards the mare, "Wha mihaga.".

Sappy heard his companion scold him. Sappy looked at the mare "Why of course, thanks chap, my old dragon eye sight is getting worse everyday eh?" He approached the mare, and opened his huge wing to shield her from the rain. "Quite a fould day today, won't you agree miss?" Asked Sappy with a smile

As a average size mare Flys to school she spotted another pegasus "dang it" she said as she had always been at school early to avoid anypony else. landing she moved away from the other pony not wanting to be seen "it's to early for this crap. If my dad wasn't a teacher I'd be able to skip this hell"

Lucky got off the train and walked out if the station, it rained a little bit but she didn't care. It's not like it mattered anyway since she would spend the whole day inside and learning about math or something. She sighed and started walking towards the school.

Sparkle looked up as the rain above her stopped (wow...) She thought to herself (and I thought my wings were big...) She heard the dragons question "yes I would say so" she said folding her wings away as it looked like she wouldn't be needing them for the rest of the conversation

He looked down at the mare. "So are you excited for school? I have heard great things about this school" Said the dragon. He looked down at Kito. "I know me and Kito are. I'm interested to see wether or not ponies apreciate culture and history here" Said Sappy. He took his companion and stuffed him inside his top hat. "There you go chap, no rain is going to get you here"

As she got closer to the school Lucky noticed that he somewhat big dragon with a top hat was talking to a pegasus. It looked pretty silly and Lucky couldn't stop herself from laughing a little. It just looked so out of place with a dragon outside the school.

Raincloud was walking to school as he noticed that it had started to rain. He thought about what a lovely day it was and sighed when he realised that he would have to spend it in school. When he had reached the entrance of the school he noticed that there was a dragon wearing a top hat standing there. Raincloud quickly decided to take one of the other entrances.

With all the power his tiny arms could possibly generate Kito slightly tilted the hat scouting around the area with a a bit of a smug facial expression. He looked at the mare now protected by the very generous dragon in comparison to the rather well known greedy ones. 

 

Without a thought about the fact that the mare was probably not going to understand any of what he was about to say, Kito exclaimed "Hwa rag wabi, Vrooboo wap!". He usually didn't think about it at all, In his ears he every word was like well written poetry.

Feeder walked into the building, walked into a secluded corner, and sat down. He took off his coat and put it in one of his bags, and started going through the other one. He pulled out writing utensils, parchment, books, first aid, guide book to plants, water, and food.

"Holy hell is everyone coming to school early." she said seeing everyone getting off the train and stuff "whatever." troting to the building "school will be starting soon!" She shouted opening the door and walking in and a blue stallion walked around the corner "hidden!" "Hi dad" "now hidden you need to get better grades this year" "Yes dad" good he trots around "damn teacher"

As Tinker toy and Locksmith flew up to the school Locksmith turned his head towards Tinker toy and said "​Did you really have to bring all those bottlecaps?" He said with a raised eye. "Won't I have to pay for lunch?" Tinker toy said with a completely serious tone. "Bits Toy, Bits. We use bits for money, not bottle caps." Said Locksmith with a his hoof covering his face. "​Oops, wrong story then..." Tinker toy said, putting the pouch of bottle caps back into his bag and Locksmith looking at him confused. Their conversation ending just as they got to school. They entered through the roof entrance, like they always did and looking for their respective homerooms and waiting for the teachers to get there.

An older looking student walked down from the schools building towards that train station. Many new students stood their avoiding the rain, and a dragon he presumed to be a teacher. He walked over to the station to introduce himself and lend then a hoof. "Are you people all Second years? If so, then come with me. My name is Zy. 4th year student. I've been given instructions to help you find your way to the class rooms and around the building."

Pastel was annoyed. To be fair, that was nothing quite out of the ordinary, but today was especially getting on her nerves. Not only was it the first day back, but there was an infuriatingly noisy group of first years crowded around the entrance that simply babbled around like lost sheep. Grumbling, she pulled her black beanie further down her head, adjusting her headphones to provide maximum noise cancellation. At least it's raining. I like the rain. Sidestepping a duo of giggling mares, she sighed, holding back a retort and walking on. Another random student emerged from the building, and she glanced at him before looking away. I've seen him around before, I think. Whatever. Maybe he can get that rabble in order. Paying the rain no mind, she simply walked through it, eyes on the floor until she reached the steps to the school building.

 

Well. Welcome back to hell.

Magic Potion walked towards school.

''Of course it's raining'' He pulled his hood over his head.

He saw group in school yard.

''Okay, I just walk in and mind my own business.''

He walked inside and took book called 'Potions volume 2' and his notebook from his saddlepack.

''Now I just have to find peaceful place to read.''

"Probably. your going to catch a cold standing out in the rain without a coat" Sparkle lead the way inside the school but then she was lost "is it that way? Or that way? Or even that way?" she had taken off by now and was just hovering around the entrance looking for her class

Roza Dream was tending to his garden early in the morning and after having a nice breakfast and shower, he got his saddlebag and headed out to school. The rain picked up as he was on the train. It was the first day of school since he moved to the neighbourhood. The rain was very hypnotic with its sound and it was making Roza gaze out, deep in thought.

 

The train soon reaches the station and Roza almost forgot to get off due to his fixation on the beauty of the rain. Roza realizes it a split second before it was too late and made a quick slide onto the station. He did not have time to check if he had brought everything with him as it might have to end up being late as a result. He got up dusted himself off and slowly walked to the school.

 

"Well... that's a nice way to start the new school year: with a slide." Roza muttered to himself as he walked, he stared up to the grey skies. He made a dead run to a nearby building.

Feeder place all of his stuff back into his bags, got up and went to look for the Library. As he was walking, looking for the Library, he muttered to himself,

 

"Wish I had a map of this place, it a big place after all."

 

After a while, he just sat down in the hall and grabbed his water and took a sip, then placed the water away, and started reading a book on first aid.

*Tsk*. Typical trouble makers. It's impolite to ignore someone who is trying to help. At least acknowledging someone's existence would be better than ignorance. Clearly this is a good indication of what this year is going to be like. Damn first years.

 

Zy took himself back into the building. Irritated after that little trip. Making his way around the building, making sure that other students knew which way to go. As one of the Oldest students in the school, he was often given these responsibilities as student Staff. He didn't dislike it, he liked the authority.

 

(Meanwhile)

 

Jack was settling into her First classroom of the year. 2nd year English, Classroom 13 on the first floor. "So this is my room for the year? Not the best, but not the worst. I could get use to this. I do wonder who will be in my class this year?"

But for me it's more than what it seems the time I've spent trying to get out of this place is enough to drive anypony insane. I can't believe I have to go through this crap again this year. Jack was a little surprised to see someone here right now. She wasn't expecting anyone for at least 5 to 10 more minutes. "You're a bit early aren't you? Well the first person in the room gets the best seat In the house so so to say." She took her register off of her table, but her glasses on and had a look over it.
