Pretty sure I'm posting this in the right place. All right, just a question. What would you guys say are the true icons of fanon, fanfiction specifically. There are the big names like:

 

-Fallout: Equestria

-My Little Dashie

-CUPCAKES (I said it, so it need not be repeated.)

 

Are there any others that hold as much renown, or some stories you think SHOULD?

I myself do not like the grimdark stuff either. That sounds odd coming from a rabid fan of FO:E but at least in that the darker elements are never glorified. They are portrayed as bad and they're not the point. The point is being the light in the grimdark. Edited April 24, 2012 by Steelquill

Derpy and Rainbow Dash have become icons as well. I believe the phrase ".... Is now 20% cooler" is used when Rainbow dash is added to something as rainbow dash is usually the first pony to cross over most times.

Do yourself a favor. Dont read it. Its not as hyped up as everypony says it is. It would be good, but it lacks motive and isn't very creative.

Played that one recently. Poor Applebloom, the psychological scars from that one aren't going away anytime soon.
