I've always been a Visual Learner. Seeing things makes it much easier for me to understand information and concepts.

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

Creating mind map which helps a lot and just reading things off the internet rather than textbooks.

Okay. Here's what I do for studying lessons and preparing for exams.

1. Study and read the lessons from advance.

2. Take notes and pay close attention to the lesson.

3. Re-evaluate the whole lesson after.

4. Study for it in your free time.

5. STUDY LIKE SOME MANIAC FOR EXAMS.

(Works every time.)

When I have to study theory at home, I usually highlight the most important concepts in a lesson, and then I copy the highlighted content by writing. Some people make notes using this method, but I write in rough and repeat this any times I need until I learn it. I never liked studying by just reading the lessons.

For biology and social science, I read the materials so many times and check if I already remember/understand till I remember all of them.

For physics and maths, I re-do the question models till I understand.

For arts and PE, screw those idc.

Also, pictures (illustration, diagrams, etc) really help keeping me from getting bored and help me to understand the materials faster

I'm more of a visual/hands on learner. I can read about stuff, but I learn the most when I actually do it. It's why a lot of my skills were self taught.

^ I ditto this.

And moreover, it's just easier for me to understand something if I can actually visualize it.

Depends on what I'm learning. If it's history, I read Internet articles/Wikipedia or books. But if it's something more practical, I read, research or watch then go do it. Easier to grasp a programming concept by actually, you know, doing it.
