So how did everyone enjoy Legends of Equestria?

The game has definately improved since last time. I was there for the final moments with Rarity, Sweetie Bell, and about 3 Scootaloos.

 

I was "Scoot aloo", and typed in caps "NOT THE MEGASPELLS", when it said 25 minutes left, which made the entire chat do the same for the remainder of that 25 minutes. The best part was when it said "5 minutes left", and the chat became conpletely unreadable.

 

Also, me and the other 2 Scootaloos decided we were all gonna die equally, so we didn't have a dance battle. XD

 

All in all a productive open server weekend. How was yours?

There could have been a list of quests in a book or something, and you could accept it and go where it lead you. Also needs to be a waypoint system so we could find one another if in a party.

Absolutely, a quest system is required. Even if they want to create more of a "hang-out" game, they can't completely ignore the rpg aspect.

I never find all the crowds of people! So sad. But I did some quests, found a dragon in an unlikely place floating in the air..
And some guy made me get him pie.
I really wish we had a little quest book to tell us what to do/where to go next. Really fun though!

That's to bad, about the trademark thing I mean. Although the creators of LoE are definitely playing it very safe, I wouldn't be suprised if Hasbro had at least a semi-difficult time with copyright as they can't claim any cartoon pony.

In all seriousness, the game was fun. There were a bunch of sets from all these obscure brony DJ's I have never heard of.... cept for Garnika, Seventh Element, and Silvahound. Garnika had the best set with Silvahound coming in second, but really, If they are gonna do something like that they need to put in a dance club and stop holding all the raves at the bakery. 

I also got killed by a dragon.... That was a thing.

This fandom began on 4Chan. It shows.

I know the pain. I did Hullabaloo's headphone quest and I went back and forth, moaning and groaning IRL about how I had been back there.and remarking to myself that I could show newbie players around because I had only been back and forth *insert huge, random number I generated at the time I said it* times, from Cantermore to Cloudopolis.

 yeah, plus LoE changed the names of most towns, and makes sure not to mention any in-show pony names in the game.

The graphics and commands lagged. And every time I tried to leave Cloudsdale or Canterlot, the game crashed.

I also feel that would make the game a bit smoother, the developers would have a better time with the game because obviously everyone's on at once during open server events, also it would allow for better feedback for improved gameplay.

The lack of development is really disappointing, so I did not play it. I vectored ponies during the OSW instead.

Unless you want a subscription fee, it's not gonna be open forever. Servers take a hefty amount of money to keep running.

 

MMO's are probably the most expensive game to create, as you need to maintain it even after release.
