Just bought Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 1 on the PS3. As you could probably tell from my name and profile pic, huge MegaTen fan, especially mainline SMT (as well as Persona).

Haven't gotten that far into it but am liking so far.

I just bought The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes for 3DS. I've been watching some videos of it and thought that I'd give it a try.

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

American Railroads - Summit River & Pine Valley

AKA train game set in the late 1800s in a mountainous area, promised lots of hauling timber and wood in some nice scenery at a fairly okayish price.

Reality turned out to be a barebones, buggy full release that is missing so many features calling it Early Access would be too generous. Developer's also a bit of a douche too.

My most recent video game related purchase was Bayonetta 1+2 back in January...

Yeah...

Eco

It's an amazing game focused on a community interaction (with other real people) to overcome a common goal while avoiding ruining the game world.

Sniper Elite 4 for the XBone.

Still as fun as it was when I played 2 and 3... but the bigger and more expansive maps are it a much more engrossing experience. Hell, even on Normal difficulty it puts up a fight and proves a challenge, mostly because it can take upwards of an hour or two to clear a campaign depending on how you approach things. So it'll keep me busy for awhile.

I bought the Formula E Energize pack for rFactor 2, which has the current Formula E car and the Hong Kong E Prix circuit. The car isn't powerful, but still has instant torque thanks to being electric and it will make the tires melt. It has nearly no downforce, and the tires have no grip, and the car has a very stiff suspension. It's actually as fun as it is challenging to drive.

Formula E tracks are kind of confusing since they're pretty narrow and fairly short, so corners come up on you fairly quickly.

Yesterday I bought WWE 2K18 Deluxe Edition for Xbox One. It was on sale digitally on the Gamestop website so I jumped on it. I am actually really enjoying it so far. See, what I love to do most with a game like this, is not play it, but rather download created characters like youtubers I like and watch matches in the Universe mode and see how it all plays out. It is exciting to me, especially since the creation tools here are stellar. I made my own custom organization called Indiana Pro Wrestling or IPW and it all takes place in Indianapolis. :D

I even made a logo for it and uploaded it for use:

Isn't that rad?! Being able to use this as the logo and watermark truly makes this feel like a unique wrestling company in Indiana which makes me giddy since of course I am a Hoosier. The commentary even makes references to past wrestling events in the city, which makes it doubly cool. I know this game didn't fair well with critics, not entirely, but for me, I am loving this entire aspect of it. I will make more additions in time to make it all feel further like a real company. :3

I had some graduation money so I decided to try a new series: Persona 5. So far I'll say I'm really enjoying it. I don't think I've ever played an RPG that is this in-depth and gives so much freedom (it's a bit overwhelming right now!), nor have I ever played one with such dark themes.

Bought Death Road to Canada a couple of days ago. Ehhhhh, it is alright, I guess. Rogue like is a genre that is extremely hit and miss and that is no more apparent than this game. At times it is extremely unfair and it has a very poor sense of difficulty. Near the end of the run if you make it that far they throw so much at you at once that it is entirely luck if you make it. There's also no real sense of feeling overpowered in this game, at least not that I have seen and that is a staple of the genre, to counter balance how random everything is. You can potentially become super strong with what you find, but that doesn't really happen in this game. Plus the humor is terrible. As in, it is like humor from a dumb 12 year old. Extremely childish and painfully unfunny. "LOLZ This gamez humor iz so random and funny LOLZ"

I do like the music a lot and I like the amount of variety that can be had with characters, especially custom ones. Sadly after beating a run once, I sorta feel burnt out already. I don't feel too much desire to go back very often. The runs take far too long and you get little in return if you die, another sad staple of the genre. Mostly makes one feel that they are completely wasting their time, and not in a good way like gaming is suppose to do.

The latest addition was GTA IV, which is probably the best part of the series.

Other than that... hmmm. Running With Rifles, with which I'm having TONS of fun. Salt&Sanctuary, a well made 2D Dark Souls copycat. HELLDIVERS, an interesting semi-tactial online top view shooter, based on world community cooperation.

A bit sooner I've bought Terraria.

And Witcher 3, which I'm disappointed in because while characters and story are nice, I can't get over the clunky combat, which consists for a lot of the game.

And The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind with expansions, because it's my favourite part of the series.

Here are some games I have bought since my last post:

  • One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 Deluxe - Nintendo Switch
  • Dark Souls Remastered - Xbox One
  • Bastion - Xbox One
  • Dirt 4 - Xbox One (This one was actually gifted to me by my boyfriend but I'll count it)

All good games, though I have not started Bastion just yet. I beat Dark Souls Remastered in just a few days. XD

No way does Witcher 3 combat. Are you trying to play it like a hack and slash or something like Devil May Cry?

I already have 4 characters with a lot of progress. The game is so good to go through with multiple builds.

I bought Ninja Gaiden and Kirby's Dream Land for the 3DS virtual console.

I've beaten both these games ages ago, but I just wanted extra copies of them.

I bought myself a lot of Monopoly Games, not sure if i can recall all of them now, but i will try : Monopoly World Cup 98 ( or a similar name to that ), Monopoly 2, Monopoly 3, Monopoly for Game Boy Advance, Monopoly for Nintendo Ds, Monopoly Junior, Monopoly Tycoon, Monopoly Casino - Vegas Edition ( i didnt buy myself the normal casino Edition, because im not going to play the pc games at all, so why buy 2 Versions of a spinoff? Vegas Edition sounds more like an update or special edition of the normal one, instead of a entirely new game, so why buy the older Version as well? Thats why i also skipped Monopoly Star Wars - Special Edition, since i had already the normal one ) and i bought myself Monopoly Party.

I skipped Monopoly for Game.com, because i just couldnt find it anywhere and it would be a Lcd-game anyway and normally they dont count for me for game collections and i also skipped Monopoly for Nintendo 64, because why would i steal america a copy of the game, that i cant play on my consoles anyway?

Splatoon for Wii U and some wii remotes

All of right-thinking humanity is on my side. Sandwiches are meant to be cut in half. You would never, unless under extreme duress or madness cut a hot dog in half. Picture yourself at a ball park, or even at a restaurant, cutting a hot dog and you will feel an instinctive, entire repulsion at the very thought of it. You can get a soup with a half sandwich, but you’d never serve a half hot dog with a soup. It’s the equivalent of cutting a pizza with a knife and fork. Pashman says anything “sandwiched is a sandwich.” He’s using the derivative verb to describe the sandwich, so he is proving the premise with itself; it is a complete logical fallacy. I hope they’ll openly boo him.
