Eeyup. I'm not nuts for Sonic like I used to be, but it's nice to check back with it every once in a while to see what's new.

 

I wish I still had my old Gamecube or PS2; Sonic Heroes and Shadow the Hedgehog were my faves.

Anyway, I LOVED Sonic when it was new. Sonic 1, 2, and to a lesser extend 3 & Sonic + Knuckles. I didn't like Sonic CD at all, and I enjoyed the first animated series for a while. After that I've kind of lost interest in newer games. I enjoy playing as him in Mario & Sonic At The Olympic Winter Games.

I'm a huge Sonic fan but I haven't done a lot in the last few years since Sonic primarily stays on Nintendo consoles and I've yet to get a Wii-U. Because of that I haven't seen the Sonic Boom cartoon either since it takes place after the Wii-U and 3DS games.

 

I need to get back into the comics. Every time I think of getting a subscription to the comics I don't have the money. I also wanna get their collections of the original comics since they're slowly putting them into volumes for easy reading. Maybe that's what I should do with my next paycheck...

 

I have the entirety of SatAM Sonic on DVD, a good amount of Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog and a few episodes of Underground (with plans to buy the complete series). I'd get Sonic X if I could find it in any complete form too. I think I found it on Hulu once but I don't remember if it was complete.

 

I also have a few figurines of the main characters and a plushie for Knux.

 

I also regularly go back and rewatch fan animations like Sonic For Hire and Sonic Shorts. I've watched Sonic For Hire so much I almost forget it's not canon half the time. It feels like the real Sonic to me.

I'm a Sonic fan, though I was a much bigger sonic fan in the past than I am now.  My favourite Sonic games are Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, I also really like the classic games on the megadrive which I grew up with as well as Unleashed, Colours and Generations.

 

As for the TV Shows I like all of the ones I've seen (haven't seen much of Boom yet) though SatAM is my favourite by far.

Whoa, really? I've been looking everywhere, and I can't find Sonic SatAM on DVD. It's driving me nuts!

 

Also, the Sonic Boom cartoon is pretty good. It can get a little too whimsical sometimes, but it's REALLY good.

Bought it at Walmart for $20. Maybe I got lucky. If you aren't opposed to buying online (or if it's even an option) I'm pretty sure Amazon sells it for about that price. Underground is by far more rare, I think.

Big Sonic fan here as well. It was actually how I got hooked to MLP in the 1st place! Rainbow Dash and Sonic have such similar personalities that it drew me to give the show a chance and I haven't looked back since  .

 

Favorite Sonic games are Adventure 1, Colors, Generations, and the Rush series. I'm probably in the minority saying this, but I have a soft spot for Sonic Battle on the GBA. Not many people like that game, but I absolutely loved it!

 

The TV shows were okay for me though. Did not care for the 4kids version of Sonic X. I will gladly take the far superior Japanese version of the show any day! I find the Sonic Boom tv show to be hit and miss a majority of the time. Some episodes are fantastic, while others are a total snooze-fest.

 

I am looking forward to the 25th Anniversary title though. It better not be that Sonic Boom Fire and Ice game coming out this year :okiedokielokie:

I'm a bit of a fan.

 

My fave games are Sonic Adventures 1 and 2, generations, unleashed, Shadow the hedgehog, and the sonic advance games.

 

My least fave games however, are any in the boom series. That was better as a cartoon anyway and it still sucks imo.

 

I still like the series and will jump back to the core games as soon as one comes out. Also, here's to Sonic's 25th anniversary.

I'm really hoping the 25th Anniversary game isn't just a "back to basics" game like Sonic 4. I want them to move forward with the series again instead of trying to capture a dead legacy.

 

I never got to play much of Sonic Battle, unfortunately. If I ever get my hands on a new GBA SP or something I'll definitely wanna get that and the Advance series (which I played up to the second game.)

I kinda hoped they would keep up the trend Shadow's game set. Not necessarily the "more mature" part but the level designs were phenomenal. They just needed to tighten up the gunplay a bit and you could have had a nice faux-shooter.
