Where would you be if you never watched MLP?

I would probably end up dead or in jail. MLP was the first non-violent thing that I liked. They are cute and funny and make me happy. And biggest of all, I wouldn't have met my sweetie and developed feelings for her and we have been together for more than five years now, and we are still as happy as our first week. I would still have some bad depression, hate, rage, anxiety issues, without any help for them, meds didn't help, but everything got better after Dashie came into my life.

To be honest, if I hadn't watched MLP, I would have been a mean, cruel, stereotype-minded person like everybody else, criticizing and penalizing other people for liking and enjoying things that weren't "normal".

Even worse, I might have ended up taking a liking for other TV shows and films, such as the horrible reality TV or R rated films.

Also, I wouldn't have the level of media arts creativity and social willingness that I now have. I didn't care much for friends beforehand, as I'd always been told by my parents that friends "were evil", "would lead you to fight with your parents", and "get involved in bad actions (drugs, gangs, guns, girlfriends, etc.)".

Thanks to this amazing cartoon show, I can better understand platonic relationships in a better, positive light than I did before. Not to say that MLP is all right and my parents' ideologies were all wrong, but at least I'm more willing to be a social person and get to understand people better and interact with them, rather than quickly saying stuff like "Hi" or "Thanks, bye" and dashing off, or (worse) simply ignoring people altogether.

P.S.: Pinkie Pie, I tip my hat to you for reminding me to smile, smile, smile, no matter what this world throws in my face.

Apart from the obvious happy feeling watching the show or fan works, I'd probably be pretty much the same. Still, this forum is the most active I've been in any fandom, be it from a TV show or game, so I count myself better off now than before!

Very different.

You see, I started watching (this generation of) My Little Pony when I was 9 and just starting to figure out who I was. After I was watching MLP for quite a while, I began to stumble across other cartoons, websites, and even musical artists because of it, and because of the people I met.

I've basically made a lot of friends, discovered my interests, and grew up with pony. So yes, I imagine that I would be very different.

I would most likely be dead or in prison

When I found MLP I was in a real dark and unsure time in my life so It inspired me to reform myself into a better, nicer, and more laid back person. That tactic is, more or less, how I survived the last couple years of high school.

I also wouldn't have some of the best friends I could have ever hoped to have.

For one thing, I never would have met my boyfriend. To be honest, he's one of the only reasons I haven't committed suicide. Without him, I'd just have a vague hope that "maybe things will get better at some point". So yeah, I'd probably be dead as well if it wasn't for this fandom. Even if that wasn't the case, the fandom is basically my only real outlet for social interaction.

Well I guess I would still not get down basics for rpg and fanfiction, and I would be less shy and more chatty. Mlp has caused me to go fluttershy, out of fear from being mocked for liking the show. I would also be more friendly. Surprisingly, mlp being friendship is magic, the opposite reflected on me, and now I'm more unfriendly, mean, and pretty much the opposite of the show. Only because I fear getting bullied.

Without MLP, I would be the same piece of crap son living in his parents' house at 19 years old, with the only difference being that i dont have thousands if not millions of like-minded individuals to talk to on the forums. Thanks guys, for being my pseudo-friends. :)

I suppose I'd not be in a too different place, but not a too similar one either. I wouldn't have met all the friends that I have through MLP, wouldn't be drawing as much (or reading art tutorials in general), free time would most likely be occupied by just gaming and modding...well, basically, a mixture of me right now and myself from few years ago. :P

If I have never watched My Little Pony, I would just be watching anime and reading manga. Instead of this forum, I might be active in an anime forum instead.

I would be depressed, alone, and I would have no hope for the future at all. Which is weird because I am still depressed and I don't know what to think of the future at this point. There are many great things this show has brought to me, but the depression still mostly holds on.

Still helplessly in the throes of severe obsessive compulsive disorder; without hope for improvement.  I found love and friends as a result of taking an interest in MLP; I don't want to so much as imagine life without them.

I became a better artist by painting them, I learned a LOT about lighting and pushed myself more to paint better and better fanart. I owe a lot to the fandom too for the support :)

With the timing of when I started watching MLPFIM, I may have possibly become a Furry in this alternate universe. All the artworks I made of MLPFIM may have instead been Furry artworks, my perception of Bronydom may have been more negative (and more judgemental in general), a not insignificant amount of my money would have been spent on non-MLPFIM things, and my perception of political correctness may have been more positive.

Whether I would have become a Furry or Brony doesn't matter, the thought of me being pro-political correctness is not a pleasant thought. I think the Derpy controversy did set off a chain reaction of how I perceive political correctness and extended that to the realm of "social justice" (then again SJWs are so ridiculous that it's possible that I may have ended up opposing them regardless of MLP but perhaps not as soon as I did).

Probably bored and miserable. MLP has brought so much color and happiness into my life; my room is filled with figurines, plushes, and posters, and they all just make me so joyful to look at them every day. Honestly, I don't even want to imagine where I'd be - it's a scary thought.

My life wouldnt really change much.

I really like the show, but i never got obsessed with anything to a point where I dont even know what I would do without it.

It's hard to say. I can't really be assured that it has changed my life all of that much. I just can't think of any major events/changes that happened in my life that hinged on me liking MLP. BUT I never do know, some interaction I had here with a member could have helped change my mind on something at one point that was major. I don't know.
