general What other "childish" things do you like?

What other things/activities that are generally considered for children/something children like to do that you still enjoy?

I'm 28, and I love stuffed animals, playing with legos, coloring (I like those "adult coloring books" like secret garden, but I still think that counts) watching cartoons like mlp obviously and I just finished the star trek animated series.  I really like a lot of kids movies too, I often don't like more adult humor, Zootopia was awesome!  I also enjoy being read to, and I have been known to swing on a swingset when no one else is around.

I love animated movies, MLP of course, playing old video games from my youth, and even finding old cartoons of my youth and rewatching them, loving them now as well (TMNT, DuckTales and the like).

I too do the swingset swing. Luckily I have my 5 yo to back me up now...helps with being a Brony too! :D :D :D

I watch the older Dc Comics Cartoons from Filmation, Hannah Babera and Ruby Spears, which are mostly children cartoons. Kind off.

I also plan on watching the entire The Land before Time series, since i like that Franchise. And i often just search for Cartoons with cute Animals, which mostly consists of Children Cartoons.  :)

Juice. I only drink juice or other juice like beverages. No soda, tea, coffee, alcohol, or even milk. Games of course, I still love pokemon and what not, and TV shows.

When there are children's lunch boxes at restaurants, I still like to get them. I will probably stop getting them when I am an adult (I am a teenager) because people would think that it was very strange and look at me for the whole time. :P

I love to listen to Disney soundtracks. I notice that some songs are even more applicable now that I'm older. ^^

Mostly video games and stuffed animals. Stuffed animals are actually a bit of a major weakness, I'm a huge softie for them.

I also still like the idea of non-grown-up parties. You know, no loud music, boring backyard barbecue socials or booze-fest excuses, just something simple. Like you and your pals just going out bowling, playing some video games together or going swimming and then maybe going out for a casual dinner afterwards. It's a bit difficult to put into words what I mean.

Stuffed animals, Disney movies..  Wouldn't want to visit a Disney park with friends since they have no interest in waiting in line to meet all the princesses.  But they're all so cute with their improv skills.  :squee:  Also, think it's hella sweet how the old Disney princess movies are being kept relevant in entertainment feeds today...the meme of drawing them as silly things (Rocks, cement mixers) is funny, though I hope it doesn't actually make people stop drawing those girls and watching the movies forevermore.

Latter three Tinker Bell movies are wonderful as well!  So cute, so pretty.  Watched all three again just a couple days ago...one of those things you're kind of always watching.  peri so cute help

Unicorns are awesome, also, but think everyone here feels like that a bit.  :proud:

Truly, were all just children on the inside! We may like older, mature things... but like the time of our childhood, when the world was still an amazing place it was pure fun. Everyday, we tried to rekindle the feeling, memories, the experience of what it feels to not care at all!

Is still go to the toy sections, eat candy, and sure a lot of other childish ways but you know what? I'm glad that I can relive those moments.

I agree! My friends and I like to have theme parties. Board game night, mac and cheese night, musical night, we've even had a picnic day! (and we're supposed to be adults, haha!) We prefer calm nights in being silly and playing games rather than having loud parties with drinking. (Not that there's anything wrong with that, to those who enjoy it)

I love stuffed animals. It's something that I never quite grew out of. My mom has tried to convince me to give them away, but I refused and will continue to. Most of my teddy bears are over a decade old and I'm really attached to them. My brother and I used to make stories with them when we were little and they carry lots of memories. I would collect new stuffed animals, but I'm a little apprehensive -- probably because I have residual false ideas of what it means to be a young adult. :please:

I like playing with kids, and its a good chance to pull out many of my favorite kid games like hand slapping, etc.

You can build off of and encourage their creativity though, and most of the silly things i do are when i get to play with kids.

here are some examples:

  • For some reason, a little girl was taking pictures of my socks.  i could have kept chatting with the adults in the room, but i made a game out of trying to hide my feet so that she couldn't take the pictures.  her sister came over when she saw how much fun we were having in thier battle to obscure or reveal my feet.
  • three kids were on a bit of a pirate kick, and asked me to make a map to a treasure.  I went to a party store and got a bunch of pirate props.  I also made a map to 4 different clues.  they used the map to find the clues, and then had to figure out where to go to find the treasure.  we ended up needing to get into a canoe and paddle to a small island where i'd hidden a copy of the "mousetrap" board game.  then we got to go back and play it together!

I am a child at heart, not matter whatever anyone tells me, I love being young and keeping my youth, apart from MLP, I love Pokemon and Digimon, and I still have all of my cards, complete first addition at that. Super Nintendo, it gaves me such enjoyment to play on 16 bit graphics. Cartoons, whether from the eighties, nineties, or current, if it's animated, or even CGI I will watch it, probably enjoy it. Care Bears, the original eighties Care Bears, I have all of the bears, and I still watch the cartoons, even the new ones. Right now the childish thing I have euphoria for is Zootopia, I bought five books, seen the movie six times, and have a Zootopia folder on Deviant Art and playlist on YouTube, this movie is phenomenal, I have not had such energy for an animated feature since the Lion King, I was eight when that came out, now that I have independence and money, I can gush over Zootopia that I could not have done in 1994, I started to draw Zootopia and Zootopia characters, because I use to draw in my childhood, I once drew the Titanic on a three foot piece of paper, it has inspired me so much, that I want to drawing again, moreover, I will not loose my childhood feelings, in fact childish things helped me mature, and keep my innocence, rather than going to night clubs, with loud tuneless music, drinking hard liquor, mingling with people mopping about life, I celebrate my childish side, and with others who feel the same.
