Episodes that You Forget About?

For me, it would be "Just For Sidekicks." I'm not sure why because I remember actually enjoying it, as far as Spike episodes go but if I'm mentally flipping through the episodes of Season 3 I'll almost always accidentally skip over it.

Any episode that's dull/boring is one I'm usually bound to forget. I always forget about Family Appreciation Day until someone brings it up. And I'm sure I only remember episodes like Appleoosa's Most Wanted/Made in Manehattan/Hoofields and the McColts because they were from the most recent Season, I'm sure I'll forget about them a quarter way through S6

It was definitely the least memorable of Discord's episodes and Discord is a very memorable character by nature.

Don't know if this counts, but I can never remember what "Leap of Faith" was about. I remember the name, it's just whenever that particular episode is brought up, I always have to look it up. Doesn't seem to happen with any other episodes, either.

Totally agree. I can remember every Season premiere and ending, and only a few episodes in between. But unless it had something that caught my attention, I can't remember them.

looking through my iTunes playlist, supposedly I've watched "for whom the sweetie bell tolls", but I dont' remember it at all from the description.

I've never paid that much attention to the CMC episodes.

Well, some episodes are only good once. I can see why it's so easy to just breeze by an boring/dull episode because of certain characters, plots, or simply it's just bad. I too have my "forgotten episodes" but sometimes these episodes can surprise you one day after you've watch it.

Yeah I found myself enjoying The Games Ponies Play a lot more than I remembered enjoying it when I rewatched it a while ago for some reason.

I think it might be because the titles don't usually correspond with the episode and probably because the writers don't want to spoil the episode by giving it out in the title.

I'm kind of surprised by some of the episode names being listed - some of them are either world-building episodes or ones in the seasonal story arc.

I'm pretty sure that I have forgotten just about every episode that I have ever seen at least once, with a few exceptions. I hardly ever recall the episode titles, and I often mix up events that happened in different episodes, or even seasons.

 

This is just because I watched episodes at random between season 5 episodes.

Outside of episodes that I remember solely for being incredibly boring such as Bloom and Gloom and Appleloosa's Most Wanted, I would have to say that What About Discord and The One Where Pinkie Knows don't leave a lasting impact.

The most prominent examples would be "Owls Well That Ends Well", "Family Appreciation Day", "Apple Family Reunion" (I was even surprised when someone said that there had been an episode about an Apple family reunion. The other examples at least still existed somewhere in my brain!), "Just for Sidekicks"," Testing Testing 1,2,3" and "What About Discord?". That's... quite a lot of episodes actually. Maybe I'm getting senile.

I think I've probably forgotten most of the episodes that weren't in Season 1 or 2. If I'd see their titles I'd probably remember but off the top of my head I can't recall all that many.

 

The best way to handle this would probably be to look at a list of titles, and see if you can remember the episode from the title.  

If you STILL can't remember the ep form the title and a short description, it probably wasn't a memorable one.

The only I remember absolutely nothing about after looking at the titles would be Flight To The Finish. Somepony To Watch Over Me comes as a close second, since all I remember from that one is Scoots telling Apple Bloom there's no time for a song.
