Full grown princess ember (and dragons in general)

So, how large do you think Princess ember will be as an adult? Do you think she'll stay relatively anthropomorphic and smaller, or do you think she'll be more on par with normal adult dragons or her father? (on that note, Torch seemed far more anthropomorphic than previous adult dragons, do you think that's more what they plan on for adult dragons?)

Did you draw this?  Just...wasn't sure since...not Octavia's Hall.  Anyway, very nice drawing.  Me likes.  I doubt we will ever see any change in Ember on the show, because in most animated shows, including FIM, there's never a true passage of time, meaning that we don't see characters age.  For instance, the CMC are the same apparent age now as when the show started, but obviously, at least several years have passed.  By rights, they should be the size of the mane six by now.  That's just how cartoons are usually done.  Spike will probably stay his baby size forever, and Ember will stay as she is.  But if I were to speculate, I'd say she'll probably stay pretty small, and look similar when she's fully grown.  She'll probably just mature a bit in various features, like your drawing, but stay more or less the same.  I.e. I doubt she'll look like Smaug.  It's kind of curious why there is such a variance of dragon types in FIM.  The adults in the dragon migration, and the guy from Dragonshy, all look like your basic Smaug/Alduin/Parthurnaax build, and then Torch, Ember, and the teenagers are vastly different.  Ember is much more humanoid, which I'm guessing is a move to make her more relatable (dammit, spellcheck, stop catching "relatable"!  That's a word!  Don't tell me it's not!)  It was probably a good move.  A dragon that walks on all fours like Smaug probably would have seemed harder to relate to, and, from the audience's perspective, on a subconscious, psychological level, harder for Spike to interact with on an equal level.

Geeze, I really went off on a long ramble there.  What I mean was, NICE DRAWING!  :D

That drawing seems quite accurate actually. Her father seemed ungodly huge, even for a dragon and he seemed to be mostly on all fours, whereas I think Ember will be more two-legged and not as large as her dad, but just as foreboding.

Ok.  That pose really cements it.  Princess Ember is Undyne as a dragon.  All she needs is an eye patch.

Aren't all dragons in the show anthropomorphic? Torch was on all fours when crouching, but his front limbs were usable as arms. I'd guess that he is pretty old if he is that large since Spike didn't even grow that to that size. That does make me wonder what happened to all dragons around his time. As for Ember, she'll probably be the size of a regular dragon when she's an adult, and maybe she'll become gargantuan if she lives long enough.

Hrm, I didn't really care for Ember that much. Her voice is pretty--But those poorly placed ram horns really get to me.

I'm not sure, I'd like to see Spike be a little bit more dragon-y as he ages. The unofficial versions of his aged self make him look very lizardlike.

A thought I had is that maybe she, and maybe all dragons, will eventually be similar to her father's size though in the very distant future; perhaps the reason why he is so large is that he is much older than most other dragons we've seen so far?

Semi-anthro, but not nearly as anthro as the adolescent dragons like garble and Ember. They still seemed primarily to be four legged beings rather than primarily bipedal like ember/Garble/ect. were.

I can imagine Ember’s adult form to be a bit similar to that of Nicol Bolas, but with way more Waifu and far less Wit’s End. Kinda like in that picture up above but more stretchy. Big dragons work better with longer necks and more lizard-like bodies, but you should keep that good chunk of her weight on the hips. This way she can appear graceful and feminine while being big, imposing, and somewhat humanoid.
