I loved Trials And Tribulations especially with the fantastic final case. My least favorite overall though is the first Miles Edgeworth game, not a bad game, but I got bored of quickly

As for the others

Favorite spinoff - Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright

Least favorite main game - Justice For All(not bad by any means, the final case brings this game up by a lot, but Jesus Christ Turnabout Big Top still blows)

Trials & Tribulations is my favorite and probably is for most others as well, just a kickass game with great cases all around and so many awesome twists. :D

Justice for All has gotta be my least favorite though, that circus case man... I mean the rest is quite good but that one's just such a slog full of irritating characters. :/

Haven't played any of the spin-offs though, and am currently playing Dual Destinies.

To speak objectively I think the worst Ace Attorney game is Investigations 1 and the best Ace Attorney game is the first ever Ace Attorney game.

To speak from my personal preference...My favorite Ace Attorney game is the first Ace Attorney game and my least favorite is Trials and Tribulations.

The first three were all just as good IMO. Apollo Justice was still pretty good. Duel Destinies is probably my least favorite, just because it was so easy. Even Apollo Justice made you think for the cases, but everything in Duel Destinies was handed to you, and what wasn't, was obvious. I got stuck in the first three Ace Attorneys, and even Apollo Justice, but never did I even have to think of having to look up hints for Duel Destinies. It was clear that the cases had some clever bits, but they never let you find them out, they laid them out. Although a lot of it also felt like retreading to me, also.

I think of the Miles Edgeworth games as separate. The second was probably better than the first, but I don't have a strong opinion there.

Trials and Tribulations might be my favorite, because it was so story-driven, and I liked Godot. But I don't know, some of it didn't work perfectly for me.

I liked Justice For All, too, though. I actually liked the circus case, even. Although the twist of how the murder went down I figured out long before it was revealed. The last case was excellent, although I really don't like...

The fact that Maya got taken captive. I was already annoyed with the fact that Maya had been suspected of murder twice, even already once in this very game. When this series takes something too far, it does so more than a little.

But...As I said, it was otherwise an excellent case, it broke the "defendant is always innocent" trend that really needed to be broke, and that trial was very tense and dramatic, and in a way that actually felt real, unlike the overdramatic feeling that a lot of these games sometimes have.

So I'm really split between the first three. The first did a lot of great, but the second and third did some things that exceeded the original, but also had some problems that keep me from listing either as my definitive favorite.

Favorite is T&T, loved the cases and how story-driven it was. And Godot is such a great prosecutor as well. Final case blew me away, although I think the first game's last case (Ema and Lana Skye's case) was the best.

Unlike a lot of people, I surprisingly really liked JFA; it's final case in particular was fantastic. And it has my favorite prosecutor in it as well. Turnabout Big Top did kinda stink, though; Regina was such an insufferable brat that I really sympathized with the killer's actions. And I really liked the killer too; (s)he's motive actually made me root for them.

Although I liked it, Apollo, I felt had the weakest cases; I really disliked the one with the Guitar; was it called Turnabout Serenade? I dunno, I just really disliked that one. And the final case, although amazing, felt a little weaker than the others. The characters were good too, although I kinda missed a prosecutor that hated your guts one way or another.

Have the courage to think and act on your own. And have the courage to disobey.

Favourite: trials and tribulations. The cases are all fantastic and I loved the major story arch present in cases 1, 4 and 5. I really liked Apollo Justice too, but it just fell short of T&T.

Least favourite: JFA. Turnabout big top... Not a fan. I liked Moe, but everyone in that trial was so unlikable. It's not awful though, the final case really had me involved.

My favourite spinoff would be Layton vs Wright! Two of my favourite video game characters. I know it's not the best game of either character, but I love the world they created and all the NPCs who inhabit it. I kind of reconned the ending with my own though because I wasn't convinced by it, but it gets me to do a little fictional writing every now and then with some established characters.

And my least favourite would be Gyakuten Kenji 2, because they didn't bother localizing it! I really really liked ace attorney investigations and it made me very sangry that they weren't bringing it here.

There's actually a fan translation called "Prosecutor's Path."

It's just like the real deal, IMO.

I loved Moe. He's so cute. And I actually laughed at his horrible puns. I even pressed him when it would cost me in the case, and one of the responses had me laughing for so long!

I have a horrible sense of humor. Oh well.

I really loved the original trilogy, even though Justice for all felt somewhat weaker in comparison to the first game and T&T.

Though i did love Apollo Justice a lot more because we saw phoenix as a mature adult, rather than a rookie, while getting a nice plot-line and a new cast of characters; I kind of appreciated that.
