What languages do you know or want to learn?

I used to speak good French, I'm better at Spanish these days. I focus on learning ancient languages for my degree but I don't converse in them :P Latin, Ancient Greek and Hieroglyphs.

English was my first language, my parents are from Canada, from both English and French ancestries, so I can speak Canadian French, but I also understand Russian, I can read and write in Cyrillic, I am fluent in Swedish, Norwegian and Danish.

I speak a very slight amount of Spanish. I can order food, ask where things are, how much something is, etc, but nothing too useful.

Sig made by Kyoshi.

Cool things people have said about me:

Never heard of him but I guess just you mentioning him is a good reason not to go anywhere near that name.

(In reference to an author I suggested.)

Other than English? Nope, not really.

Although, I'm currently studying French and Japanese. (I'm mainly focusing on French as of now, though)

I used to be pretty fluent in ASL, but I haven't used it in years and can't remember half the alphabet.

I knew French fairly well, but I also haven't used that much in a few years.  I can understand a bit of it, but I don't remember enough to speak it anymore besides a few things.

I'm learning German right now, so I'm not very good.  I'm having a hard time understanding what die, das, der whatever to use for the different words, and I think they have that weird thing with male and female words where you have to add letters to the end of like colors and describing words for them and it's really confusing.

English is my native language. I took 2 years of Spanish in High School. I can't remember a whole lot of it, but I'm sure I could at least speak Spanish at a pre-school level.

I am a fluent Spanish speaker, although my vocabulary is only 80% (made up statistic) of what it should be. Hence I have to think sometimes about the word to say.

I can speak French conversationally and write and read it, but I have a hard time listening to it.

(edited)

I took Spanish a year ago, but I only remember it in fragments. That is fragments of the fragments I learned in that one semester class. xD

Hey. I've merged your post with an existing thread. That should help you get some more opinions. Just a heads up!

I can count to ten in a few languages lol.  And say: "Yo soy el diablo.  Yo trabajo en del infierno."  Which, hopefully, translates into: "I am the devil.  I work in hell."  Which probably isn't all that useful. xD

I'd like to learn German or Japanese, but properly learning Spanish might actually be of some use to me lol.  German would just be cool; I'd say everything as angrily and powerfully as possible.  Even if I were just saying that Rainbow Dash is best pony.  Japanese would be cool for watching / understanding anime without the need to glance at subs all the time.
