How do you sleep with a snorer?

My suggestion is white noise of some kind, or a noise that relaxes you. So perhaps and app on a mobile device that can play a white noise in the background while you sleep. Something like that, could be white noise, could be the sound of rain falling, whatever works. Have that up loud enough, preferably without headphones and that could work. It does depend on if the other person can hear in but in my experience if a snoring friend would stay over for the night, they never would wake up because of that noise.

not all people can sleep with white noise or music etc. and i'm not talking only about you, but about snoring person too. maybe it's your elder relative, family or whatever. and you tried to sleep with headphones? it's uncomfy for some people too.

so, what to do then in that kind of situation? -just tell snoring person, to turn on it's side. it really helps.

if not, well then brace yourself and try to sleep anyway.. or go somewhere else, then when you get really tired you'll sleep with or without snoring person next to you.

Don't. Lol. Though if it's a must, try something to cover the noise with, that's the best tip I can give, not experienced with this.

I only sleep with a big plush Panda, so no snoring there. But if I did sleep with a snorer, I'd give that person a mouthguard, which is like the protective mouth piece worn by boxers, only they're made for snorers. It doesn't inhibit breathing and it props the mouth open just enough to allow smoother passage of air. My brother used to be a big snorer, and he says this helped him immensely.  :orly:

My husband snores, he uses these strips over the bridge of his nose that help reduce the snoring somehow. I don't know how they work but they do. Which is great because some nights I don't mind the snoring, but others it makes it really hard to stay asleep.

Well I was able to get used to it sleeping with my partner during our meetups, dates, whatever you want to call them. He snores fairly loudly, but I felt enough at ease to sleep anyways. :)

But I guess my advice would be to use headphones or ear buds to try to block it out.

As I mentioned in a previous post, a mouth guard for the snorer can alleviate the noise. Otherwise I’d suggest soft earplugs or some white noise like a loud fan or a white noise machine, which I often use when I travel. Or, you could simply embrace the joyous noise, knowing that someone you love is getting some good nourishing snooze.

It’s only a factor if I can’t fall asleep, but that would likely be due to my mind being under too much deep thought, or my bed ain’t comfy.

I can sleep with a snorer usually well. It’s a low pitched noise.

Oh, I have something to share, yes. Younger pet rat of my wife is terrible snorer.

Have you ever heard how rat does snore?! :Pip-giggle: I feel sorry for him and laughing so badly so feeling guilt at the same time. :pip-err:

Nasal drops are helping for a while.
