Battlefield, without a doubt. Way better multiplayer, no screaming racist 8 year olds, no overpowered weapons, no fucking killstreak perks (gawd, those were annoying). CoD will be dead once BF4 comes out, becasue its EPIC

I'd have to say Battlefield when it comes to it's huge variety of guns, and it has dedicated servers unlike Call of Duty. I've got to give Call of Duty credit for some things but, putting target finders and little toys for the kids does not make your game great. I hate the admins in Battlefield but, other than that I'm fine with it. Battlefield 4 will put up a fight with Call of Duty: Ghosts.

Call of Duty. I love it because it's a fast paced and competitive game, unlike Battlefield 3, which is really slow paced.

As for realism, it's a video game. If you want a realistic military shooter, go join the military.

WHY DID YOU JUST START A FLAME WAR ON MLP FORUMS? ugg if there is anything worse it is the COD and BF players fighting. Yes I prefer playing BF3 more but really If you play COD, that's your taste.

oh no wait, I was mistaken... No flaming? this community surprises me everyday.

You shouldn't really compare Battlefield and Call of Duty. The only thing that they have in common is that they are FPSs, Battlefiled is more tactic and skill based, much larger scale and slower paced. CoD is more reaction based, far smaller scale and far faster paced.

I enjoy both.

I'm going to have to say Call of Duty. Battlefield is a good game, but I prefer Call of Duty because of its fast-paced, smaller, standard gameplay. Compared to Battlefield where it's more tactical and slightly more complicated. The upcoming Battlefield 4 does look very good though so I'll probably try it out.

You just can't compare CoD to Battlefield. They are entirely different games.

Battlefield: Slow, more tactical gameplay.

CoD: Fast, Run N' Gun gameplay.

Personally, I play more CoD than Battlefield, but I think both are great and deserve to get their due credit.

You can't compare these games fairly. They are completely different game styles.

Similarities: FPS, modern day, large following

Differences (COD): arcade style gameplay, limited customization, arcade like graphics, fast paced multiplayer

Differences (BF): More realistic, real world hinderences (gravity, wind), vehicles, kniving is more animated, jets, harder to hack, more serious gameplay, slower pace, higher quality scenery.

Cod is more of a nice just play to play. Some play way too serious and others play for fun. The game is simple and easy to learn.

BF is much more complex. The sniper bullets drop like in real life, kniving doesn't guarantee an instant kill because it gives someone a chance to kill you while you're kniving someone. The vehicles mean you have to worry about those on the ground along with whoever is strafing in the air.

I love both games, because they give a different gaming experience

Battlefield I would have to say looks infinitely better than any COD out there. COD's community really sucks. Battlefield is for more mature players and offers a greater scope of diversity and teamwork. I would definitely say Battlefield by a long shot. Not really a contest here mind you.

Hello! This is my first poll!

I wondered what kind of FPS players are here and made this thread

So the question is:

Battlefield, or CoD?

Please also refrain why you think this

I personally choose Battlefield, because it has cars, tanks jets etc. and it has a more mature community, while CoD is (in my opinion) full of raging 7 year olds.

Whats your opinion? Please tell!

I prefer Battlefield. I prefer tanks and jets on a large scale battlefield to running around in a small area spray and praying. That's not to say that Cod can't be fun though. I just prefer BF.

12 year old's my dear Watson -insert monocle here-

I can already see this thread becoming a shitstorm .-.

I have to agree with you, Battlefield is a far superior game, I use to be a "cod fag" but them my friend said I should give battlefield a try and I've been a Battlefield person ever since.

I believe that Battlefield is a more realistic game as far as weapon and map physics go, and requires more tactical thinking in order to win. Where as CoD is less hardcore and is more recreational and doesn't really take as much skill and is more a spray-and-pray than a tactical shooter.

I still think that CoD has it's ups though. Game types such as infected are always fun to play with a few mates, plus battlefield doesn't like to be as fun with it's camo's as CoD either, but I prefer the tactical realism of Battlefield over the arcade physics of CoD.

Call of Duty is a vastly superior game in my eyes in terms of gameplay. Battlefield is decent but the gunplay isn't nearly as precise or fun to play as COD's. It takes too long to kill in Battlefield. Emptying 15+ shots in someone and they still don't drop is annoying

Dat tanks, dat helicopter. So Battlefield.

That said I would love to see crazy science fiction version of Battlefield, Mass Effect, Star Wars, Futurama craziness to it. I'm getting kind of sick modern warfare. I want robots, space shis and giant death stars.

I perfer CS, Far Cry, Half-life and such games.

Some titles have been okay from both and some have been bad.

Battlefield; I enjoyed the bad company series, after that it have litteraly only been graphical updates. The story lines have also been horrible lately.

Call of Duty: usaully lacks well written stories (A five year old could write the MW3 story). The recent titles have been pretty boring as well, the physics are also too simple for me.

(I once killed my friend in BOII without even hitting him, he sort of died of a heart attack. )

Anyway I enjoyed the original and WaW a lot.

I prefer battlefield due to the actual feeling of being in a team, where your victory demands you work together. Nothing is more satisfying when you are pinned down and your squad come flying in with a attack chopper, or a company of three tanks roll over the hills, raining death upon your enemies.

On that note, Cod stopped being fun when people found out about quickscoping.
