That story never ceases to make me smile :,)

To be honest before I started talking to you and Feathers I was never really accepting of other orientations.

I was not against them per se but just scared of anyone like that.

So I guess it's your fault I'm open minded about that (in a good way).

PS: your gay and I want my brownies

YAY I'VE MADE AN NOT-SO-SIGNIFICANT IMPACT ON SOMEONE'S LIFE! :D

PPS.

you don't get any brownies. i dun know how to make them.

I was misled by the term. From the wiki definition, "non-sexual" sounds more accurate. "Asexual" makes me think that one may be sexually attracted to themselves. No offense meant.

Honestly, I can't help but think of that way myself, as well.

I don't think that "asexual" should be the term, because scientifically it refers to something completely different from sexual orientation.

it's more significant than you think...trust me.

Asexuality is not a sexual orientation, it's a lack thereof ;)

Uhm, uhm, interesting. Very interesting

I know right. <.<

Just about even too >.>

I am a Bisexual lady brony and very much preoccupied with glbt and intersex rights. I lean more heavily toward the gay end of the spectrum I would say, though and feel more comfortable with the gay community and those who support it.

Asexual...the prefix A means "not".

Thank you for the reminder. Adiabatic, anaerobic, amorphous - No change in heat, no oxygen and no form. Prior to this, I had only heard the term "asexual" in the context of amoebas, which reproduce by splitting themselves which tripped me up. The closest term I could find for the attraction to oneself is sexual narcissism. I don't have a background in biology though, so don't quote me for this.

As straight as a rainbow!

Actually, I'm heterosexual, but I am not against any homosexual people, since that quality does not completely judge another pony's character.

82 Heterosexuality, 11 Homosexuality, and 33 Asexuality!

"Hell is full of good meanings, but heaven is full of good works"

I would love to learn how to shuffle. Just like this

Well why not, I actually like OKCupid for having silly little quizzes like this.

You scored 38 Heterosexuality, 62 Homosexuality, and 25 Asexuality!

  • You scored 38% on Heterosexuality, higher than 24% of your peers.
  • You scored 62% on Homosexuality, higher than 87% of your peers.
  • You scored 25% on Asexuality, higher than 32% of your peers.

Hah, naiiiiiiiled it. Totally knew this already, 60% for guys, 40% for the ladies.

....though half the time I feel more 70% gay, I mean I DO like guys more. They're just...a lot easier for me to deal with than girls. Women have all these social constructs I keep hearing about and it intimidates me away from them because I don't wanna look like a creep.

So I've ended up with guys more because they don't seem to have any of that, or at the very least, they have the same gender constructs as I do and therefore I find it easier to handle them than others...though I'm really scared of intimacy.

I tend to kinda panic when I'm being cuddled or hugged...I have a gay friend from England though who's been giving me a sort of emotional therapy about it, like we cuddle or do things slowly, kind of like a...practice boyfriend?

He's helped me a lot with my intimacy issues I have to say ^ ^;

Yeah I can kinda relate to that. In my case, most of the girls I've known play the whole hard to get bullshit and what not. It's a rather boring and long process of having to try to chase after someone you like.

So much so that my affection has began going towards people of the same gender. :|

Aye, it's bad enough that I can't read people very well, like literally blind to the more subtle body language, so that does not help me at all.

What exactly happened?

I remember this thread, but only partially.

This is his thread, but it's my thread.

My title and poll and many of the posts, but his OP and first however many posts.

Were the threads merged or something? Because I'm confused.

Sorry, that was difficult to understand.

Your question is were any threads

merged with this one? None that I know.

I guess I should take the test then...

You scored 49% on Heterosexuality, higher than 39% of your peers.

You scored 11% on Homosexuality, higher than 15% of your peers.

You scored 59% on Asexuality, higher than 81% of your peers.

*sigh**facehoof* Well, that went better than expected... .__.

Well, I did take the test, and now a second time. The only thing that changed was the asexuality part, which decreased two points.

40% Heterosexuality, higher than 27% of your individuals.

40% Homosexuality, higher than 67% of your individuals.

6% Asexuality, higher than 3% of your individuals.

I wasn't sure which test everyone was taking so I just looked up okcupid sexuality test..

According to them I am: 'mostly gay'

"You scored -33 (-52 being completely gay, 0 being bisexual, and 52 being completely straight)"

"You are mainly homosexual, but you have a few heterosexual qualities. You much prefer the same sex, but you have a mild interest in the opposite sex. While you would jump at the opportunity to screw someone of the same sex, you might be up for experimenting with members of the opposite sex if given the opportunity. If you are sexually inexperienced, you could shift on the spectrum at a later time depending on whether you have sexual encounters with the opposite sex and whether or not you like those encounters."

Eh..this is relatively accurate, although the description leaves something to be desired.

basically why i prefer guys: i can relate to them a helluva lot more than i can with girls. i've been in classes in schools that are mostly male-dominated, as well as my family being that, too, so i've been exposed to guys much more than i have been with girls during my entire lifespan. so much that i can find my mother's behavior to be weird at times, because i don't fully understand how girls' minds work.

that, and guys are a lot more cuter, attractive, etc., than girls are, imo.

I suppose I am bisexual. I like some girls and I like some guys. It's not something I really stress over.

Some people say that I 'walk like a guy' and thus they think I am lesbian. Always makes me laugh.
