I kind of remember responding to a topic that was similar to this one a while ago, so I'll give the same response to this topic as well: Tanks for The Memories already covered the topic of death and the grieving process through Tank having to go into hibernation and Rainbow Dash needing to come to terms with it. I can't think of any other episodes that deal with death or the grieving process in MLP, but there are so many episodes that maybe I'm forgetting one. If there are any more besides Tanks for The Memories that deal with this topic, others can feel free to add onto what I said here.
