Envy 6,226 May 3, 2017 #27 Share May 3, 2017 I feel like the show is more enjoyable this season than last, but my enthusiasm is still not anywhere near where it was back in the early years of the show. Everything needs more woodwind!

Ganondorf8 11,407 May 3, 2017 #29 Share May 3, 2017 I continue to remain strongly devoted to the series but I won't deny that Equestria Girls has a bigger place in my heart than the show does. Still, I'm enjoying the current season despite a few hiccups here and there--no season is perfect after all--and eagerly await to see what else it will bring. I'm also hoping for certain characters to have human versions of themselves appear in EQG just to see what it would be like.
PinkiePie97 913 May 3, 2017 #30 Share May 3, 2017 Sorta. I still like the newer episodes for the most part, but for the most part, I don't think the show is as good as it used to be. The Powerpuff Girls has replaced MLP as my biggest interest, and there are quite a few other shows I'm more into nowadays. That being said, I'm still excited for the movie, though I'm not sure that counts here since this is about the show. It is just a nice way to pass 30 minutes of a day among other things I enjoy. Currently it is still a lot of fun and I think it is a great waste of time. Currently this season, the episodes have been really good, and I cannot really complain unless i just want to nitpick for sake of doing it. GrimGrimoire 4,973 May 4, 2017 #32 Share May 4, 2017 No, you're right, it doesn't. Everyone has their own reasons for feeling whatever it is they feel. My personal take is that I have no deep investment in it as many here do, and as such many of the changes that are taking place, or at least appearing to take place.. do not affect me in the same way it perhaps affects others. ~No profound statement needed~
Lambdadelta 1,462 May 4, 2017 #33 Share May 4, 2017 I still love the show and the fandom, but i dont want it to be one-sided relationship, i want the show love me back, thats easy, just make good episodes for me. My enthusiasm for the show has decline a little bit but that normal, it happened in many marriaged couples, they get mad in love, they married and sometime they tired of each others and sometime they divorced. It's not like that the show is bad, it's really cool, but I kinda grew out of it, I guess. But I still kinda don't wanna leave this forum here, because the community here is kinda cool ^-^ I'am on this forum for already over a year, and it might sound weird, but it helped me a lot in improving my social skills by talking with people here. Sonic5421 428 May 4, 2017 #36 Share May 4, 2017 My enthusiasm seemed to wane a bit because of the last two seasons, especially with what happened in To Where and Back Again, but with how many characters like the Royal Family are finally getting some development in Season 7, my enthusiasm for the show has been renewed for the time being. MissDiamond 157 May 11, 2017 #42 Share May 11, 2017 This is an interesting question because I can't describe how I feel about the show in the current state. Sure, S1 and S2 were the best in my opinion, S3 was an ok season, S4 is actually where it started to go downfall until the second half of the S5, then brought back the awesomeness in the s6 and now it's okay, we'll see what's going to happen in the next half of the S7. I'd rather if I hadn't seen the description of the upcoming episodes in the first half of the season 7. And also, I don't like Starlight Glimmer. My conclusion is that I still love the show but not as before. I don't know if it is because my brain has matured or it just isn't amusing as before, I have yet to figure it out. ~"I simply cannot let such a crime against fabulousity go uncorrected"~
Thrond 3,263 May 11, 2017 #43 Share May 11, 2017 My enthusiasm for this show... varies. Obviously I'm not as excited for this show as I was back in season 3 when I had just discovered it, but right now I'm starting to lose excitement for it simply because I've not enjoyed season 7 much at all. In the past, my enthusiasm moved pretty consistently downward since the season 3 finale and the overall weakness of seasons 4 and 5, but season 6 did a lot to reinvigorate my interest. Hopefully, later episodes in season 7 can regain it once again.

There's no real "omgI'mgonnadieifIdon'tseeitNOW!" hype for new seasons or weekly episodes. It's just a lot more fun being able to watch something with people you like and are into the same thing than watching something alone.
