This album had a good vibe to it, and I think it was one T.I.'s greatest albums to come out for what it had to offer. I love when John Legend collabs with other rappers though, he adds to any song he's featured on.

Fort Minor always brings me to awe.

Shinoda and Common are just amazing lyricists. If only they did more collabs.

FORT MINOR, FORT MINOR, FORT MINOR!

The only reason i know about it is because Linkin Park is a favorite band of mine. But anyways, I'll continue this trend of Fort Minor.

Red To Black is definitely one my favorite Fort Minor tracks, Stylez of Beyond and Shinoda just have awesome lyrics in it.

Just the flow and instrumental of this song make it amazing.

I originally didn't like this song, but it's grown on me a little.

Seems like there isn't too much love for this song... And if anyone is wondering what black face is, it's when white actors would apply black make-up on their face, and play the role of a black person.

Just found this song and... I'm not sure how I like the beat. It's pretty eclectic sounding.

Eh, it's better after the strings fade. 6/10.

You should hear the Remix with Jay Z, and Swizz Beatz. Kanye has more lines in the remix, except it's difficult to find.

DMX talks about the industry in a nutshell.

I'd exclude Jay Z, but he has gotten very mainstream now, although I rather identify the typical crappy mainstream rappers of today.

OH MY GOD A RAP THREAD I NEVER THOUGHT I'D SEE THE DAY!!!!

Anyways, I'm going to comment on the above because I don't trust my own taste in music enough to post my own favorites. He's got a good flow, and the song motif is pretty nice. Not a lot of wordplay though, and that's what I really look for when I listen to rap. One line that I got any reaction out of was:

'throbbing from his rod incisions

So you started fishing, websites and call him b------'

Because fishing can be fishing from the previous word rod or phishing like online, and the next word is websites. Am I weird for basing my love for rap on stuff like this?

Rakim is completely amazing, especially in this song. His flow was uninterrupted throughout the entire song, which is pretty awesome.

Never thought I'd find myself getting into rap, but some how, I magically started listening to Tech N9ne. Probably because of that collab he did with Deftones.
Erm...
Anyway, anyway recommendations on where to start with him?

Tech N9ne is personally my favorite modern rapper. "6's and 7's" and "Sickology 101" are probably his best albums, in my opinion.

If you want to find more rappers with a similar sound listen to some of the musicians in his label "Strange Music". Edited by Veiled Enigma

I don't find a lot of people really like The Game, but whatever I still consider him a great rapper. Kendrick Lamar does great on this track too.
