Most Dominant Brand For Your Electronics

Tons and tons of options exist for electronic devices. Phones, TV's, gaming machines, automatic bacon dispensers (which do not exist but they should) and as such, there are many different brands for these products, some lesser known, some that are mainstays.

So, evaluating the electronics in your household, what do you have and what do you have the most of?

For me, I have an LG TV, a Nokia Windows Phone, a Samsung phone, a Gateway Windows 10 Laptop and an Xbox One, obviously by Microsoft. So for me it is rather varied but with the Windows Phone, Xbone and Windows 10 laptop, Microsoft is the winner in terms of what I own.

MSI wins for me. I have a Z97 Gaming 5 ATX motherboard, and R9 290, a GTX 970, a GTX 1070 Gaming X, and a GTX 1080 Gaming X from them. Corsair comes 2nd, I have a 500R, K65 RGB, and an H100i V2. Tied for 2nd is Cooler Master with a Hyper 212 Evo, V8 GTS and a MasterCase Pro 3. ALSO tied for 2nd is Samsung. A 2TB SSD, a Gear S3 and a Galaxy S8. I would say Noctua, but I basically just have the same thing, but 7 times.

Of course, that's just out of the stuff that I personally own.

Probably just easier for me to list the stuff I buy the most overall:

Logitech peripherals
Canon cameras
Dell laptops
Sony consoles
Samsung mobile devices
Sennheiser headphones
Phillips-Norelco shavers

Let me count

Spoiler

Razer; Razer; Razer; Logitech; Microsoft; null; BenQ; Samsung; Samsung; Samsung; Sharkoon; Sharkoon; Arctic; CSB; ASUS; HyperX; HyperX; Western Digital; Seagate; MSI; MSI; MSI; Phillips; Seagate (x6);lenovo;Fujitsu Simens;

Well, got 3 things from Razer (Black Widdow Chroma, Firefly, Kraken)

2 Things from Samsung (2 Screens and a Galaxy S5)

And 2 or 3 things from MSI (2 GTX 970's and a Z97 Gaming 5 Motherboard)

I guess you could say Razer and MSI, although, i'm not sure if i can count 2 times the same product since then it would be all 3 of them.

There aren't really any brands that are dominant for me all across the board. Both of my laptops are Toshiba, the brand has done pretty good for me. Most of my consoles are Nintendo, but I have a PS2, PSP, PS3, and PS4 as well, so... My TVs are both of different brands. I've had phones from various companies, but looking throughout the years Samsung has been the most common brand even though 2013 and beyond I have been all iPhone. For MP3 players Apple has always been my choice, but I don't really use MP3 players anymore.

These are the brands I'm currently using the most. I wouldn't say they "dominate" my electronics, but they make up a sizable portion of it all.

  • MSI: The H110M Pro-VD Motherboard I have in my PC
  • Intel: The Intel Core i3-6100 CPU, also in my PC.
  • PNY: The 120 GB SSD I have in my PC
  • Seagate: The 1 TB HDD I have in my PC
  • EVGA: My GTX 1050 Ti GPU and 400-Watt Power Supply.
  • Thermaltake: My keyboard and mouse combo.
  • ViewSonic: My 75 Hz monitor
  • Microsoft: My Xbox 360
  • Nintendo: My GameCube (It's an original that I've had since the console launched. Still works like a champ!)
  • Samsung: My old-as-garbage phone that barely works :P

I think my most dominant brand would be Nintendo, oddly enough, mostly because out of all my electronics they hold the plurality of electronics I have in my house, considering I have an SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Wii, Game Boy Advance SP and 2DS as well as the games for 'em. Though, if you were to look at individual PC parts, I'd probably say my most dominant company would be Intel, just because most of my PCs (in which I've gone through a number of desktops and a few laptops) use Intel CPUs, although I have been shifting to AMD in recent months.

My consoles are all Nintendo, my speakers and headphones are Skullcandy, and my phones have all been Droids. My laptop that served me about a decade before dying was a Toshiba so that's what I'm looking at for my next one

The most "dominant" brand? I don't really have one.

My PC headset is a QH-90 from QPAD. Normal headset is a white Steelseries. I have a keyboard from Dell. My tertiary screen is from Dell too. My primary and secondary screens are HP Compaq. Mouse is a Razer Chroma. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S4.

I guess the most dominant brand would be WD. I have 3 hard drives from them. Two 2TB's and one 3TB.

Motorola (Lenovo): My phone is a Moto G4. I like it, but I got the Amazon Prime Edition with lockscreen ads, meaning I cannot root it due to the locked bootloader. D:

ADATA: I have two solid state drives from them. My desktop has a 60GB one, while my laptop has a 240GB SU700 I just recently installed.

Toshiba: I have a Toshiba 24SL410U 24" 1080p TV. It's a few years old now, but it fits my needs.

Acer: My laptop is a Aspire E15 E5-574G-54Y2. It's a good budget gaming laptop (around $600), even though there's a newer model out there.

I have so many electronics in my home with various brands, some of which are Chinese electronics, it's hard for me to tell which brand is the dominant one in here.

Well, I currently have four Nintendo systems in my household, so I suppose it wins here.

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.
