7. Would you explore the old Castle of the Two Sisters without a guide?

Interrogatives:

1. You are given three options and you have no choice but to pick one:

   a. Find out when you die.

   b. Find out where you die.

   c. Find out how you die.

Which do you choose and why? Why not the other two?

2. Opinion on kelpies?

3. Opinion on water clocks?

4. Opinion on thalassophobia?

5. Why is Angel bunny such a pain in the rump?

6. If you had no choice but to turn into a non-human, non-mythical animal, what would you choose and why?

7. Would you rather be trapped inside a tank stuck in the Sahara desert or inside a submarine marooned in the Arctic Ocean?

8. You have won a Nobel Prize, what is it for?

9. What is one skill that you wish you were an unmatched expert in?

10. Do you know da wae? I'm so sorry.

Oh, that one's a clear 'ditto'. Same answer as for previous question, except possibly with more miscellaneous survival gear.

Probably 'how', given that the balance of probability is that I'll just die of old age.

'When' would be a horrible ticking time-bomb sort of thing and 'where' would probably prevent me from ever going to the place where I know I'll die, and that could result in some weird timestream reconciliation.

They taste bad.

Old-school hourglasses were the best.

Cat.

Because people feed me and snuggle me and love me and worship me and let me be a casual nudist in exchange for nothing but claws and attitude. :D

The submarine.

At least my fam could help me escape.

Everything.

Being an unmatched expert in everything. :proud:

Out of all the four elements Aristotle proposes: Air, Fire, Earth, Water. Which ones your favorite element? :muffins:

Well, I mean, considering my avatar, my profile page, my signature, and most of my interactions around the forums, I think it's safe to say that it's obvious that my favourite element is Fire. :mustache:

What intense training must we endure to be able to obtain your sense of humour, Master Duality?

Arcane and terrible tasks, liken unto Hercules' legendary twelve in magnitude and paradoxical intricacy.

but for realsies you can buy eldritch eloquence off of the dark market

just look for a skinny guy with a magenta tartan on his head and slip him a Cthulhu chipmunk when no-one's looking

what do you mean 'stop trying to get me to do your dirty work'

it's not like I have a grudge against that guy because he refused to bribe the minister of state with necromantic null-nachos on my cousin-in-law's behalf

he's a trained esoteric entity wrangler

As a puddle of water, what are your living requirements?

Water molecules are fairly stable, so pretty much anything that doesn't involve horrible chemistry or exotic physics.

That is to say, not much outside of a laboratory or the core of a star.

What drives you forward in life, i.e., what motivates you to get out of bed every morning? (wow such serious)

I just got out of bed, so I can say with experiential evidence fresh in my mind that I am motivated to get out of bed in the morning because I'm hungry and I need breakfast.

As for what drives me forwards in life, I get things done because they need to be done and because getting things done pays off. Sure, I could die at any moment, but God says He's got me covered and I'm inclined to believe Him.

In my formidable opinion, people nowadays get mopey and existentially depressed because they try to solve their problems with philosophy - modern mainstream philosophy states outright that there's no reason for us to exist. Theology is where you go for a reason to live.

I cannot answer this as there is no experimental evidence on the subject.

Unless, of course, you wish to volunteer your own body for the task.

10 hours ago, TigerGeekGuy said:

What is the pH level of an average xenomorph's blood?

13.9.

Highly alkaline.

10 hours ago, TigerGeekGuy said:

Opinion on conspiracy theorists that think the moon landing was faked?

what possible reason could the government have to fake it tho

10 hours ago, TigerGeekGuy said:

Thoughts on the adaptations and mutations of the animals that live at or near Chernobyl?

Actually not appreciably higher in occurrence frequency than anywhere else.

People just notice mutations far more often near Chernobyl because they're looking for mutations far more often near Chernobyl, and Chernobyl is one of the very few untamed wildernesses in the region (hence more wild animals than anywhere else in the region and thus more possibility of mutations appearing).

10 hours ago, TigerGeekGuy said:

Thoughts on Stockholm Syndrome?

That's. . . weird.

10 hours ago, TigerGeekGuy said:

Thoughts on the Mandela Effect?

Story of my life right there.

10 hours ago, TigerGeekGuy said:

How is Luna able to interact with dreams?

She 'hacks into' the subconscious (sleeping) mind by artificially stimulating/suppressing electrical activity in pertinent regions of the brain.

Highly unethical.

muh homeboy right there

Probably just Duality, and the ability to access the mirror realm.

Ten inches, obviously.

CA = BD = radius of circle = 5 + 5 inches.

Calculator and written working not required.

Greetings, @Duality!

I was wondering:

"Are you a cup of water who dreams of being a puddle?" :o

Thank You *so* much for answering my silly question! :D

I'm more of a Lake Vostok eddy current, myself, but if I had to choose between being a cup of water and being a puddle, I'd definitely choose being a puddle.

Cups of water get drunk and have to go through a bunch of icky intestinal cavities and wastewater disposal systems before being freed to the environment, while puddles, while being easily tainted by mud and other pollutants, have the ready opportunity to evaporate and thus become a part of that majestic weather-controlling dance of atmospheric power that is the water cycle.

Alright, @Duality?

How exactly does a collection of water molecules become sentient? Let alone use an ergonomically designed keyboard for humans?
Furthermore, if enough heat was applied, could you still evaporate? And therefore vicariously... fly?

I think questions like these prove once and for all that science has officially gone too far...

I'll answer that if you can tell me how exactly a collection of carbon molecules becomes sentient.

Humans are 60% water. It's not as difficult for me as it might seem.

Definitely.

You haven't lived until you've soared the stratosphere at the whims of a thousand winds, gazing at the stars above and the seas below, pouring rain upon the drought-stricken and exulting in the power of lightning crackling between your clouds.

Exhilarating business, being Water.
