Which of the Mane Six would be the best villain actress?

I would pick Rarity, because she can use her emotions well as an actress. Other than her, Fluttershy would use her aggression, while Twilight may also be good at acting.

Interesting topic.  I think Twilight would be the best for that. Pinkie Pie would not take it seriously, Rainbow Dash would be too "Mary Sue" strong, Fluttershy would be too shy to act as a villain or act at all ("I will take over the world! ...if that's okay with you, of course."), Rarity would be too dramatic and it would not very much be Applejack's perfect part.

6. Fluttershy: stage fright is no good for an actress.

4. Rainbow Dash: would make a good secondary villain, too hot headed for a great villain.

To me, Twilight Sparkle seems like she would be the best at portraying a villian, considering her logical nature and her intelligence, as well as her powerful magic and love of organization makes for an excellent, chessmaster ("Xanatos/Palpatine") type, sociopathic villian.  This has already been done in fanfiction, several works have her turn evil.

1. Twilight:  Would be the tragic hero type of villian (leader/mastermind of the world domination). She is smart, very self-consciences,overwork-up, always doubting her ability..yeh that would be a quantity for a perfect villian actress. A villian without knowing she is becoming one, she might attempt to create a better world.

2. Rarity: Would be the high class type of Villain (country's politic leader like a queen):  ..Well basically Nightmare rarity explained all. 

3. Pinkie Pie : would be the psychotic type of  villian (criminal): The movie basically emphasized that a lot. She would be like the mane-ic who like having fun while tormenting her enemies. 

4. Rainbow dash: Would be the charismatic type of villian:  selfish, inconsiderate,  mischievous and hot headed.  She would be like the "general" or an commander type  who is full of themselves and hunt her enemies for  fun and sport.

5. AppleJack: Would be the anti-hero type. Full of honesty and common sense, but her judgement can be a little extreme.

6. Fluttershy: Would be the devil in disguise but not quite enough to be a villian.  More like just silent type of evil when she wants to be or needs to be.

I mean, it has to be Rarity if you're talking any brand of drama.

Actually if you think about it, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and RD already have played villainous roles in canon with the first Hearthswarming episode. They each played the selfish autocrats of their respective tribe decently enough.

I'd put out a promising word for Fluttershy, though. She can actually be pretty vicious at her lowest moments in the series. Also consider the halloween episode of the previous season with her pulling tricks on everyone. It's kind of the thing of the elements that they understand their opposites best, isn't it? She can be kind because she really understands what is hurtful.

Im going for "who would be more suited to being a villain" than actress. I would really like to see AJ as a villain. I mean, theres the one bit where Chryssi disguises herself as AJ and hearing AJ with an evil voice was really cool. 

But the obvious choice would be Rarity - we already had Nightmareity in the comics.

Pinkie Pie also becomes a Nightmare version in the comics, after absorbing Discord's power - its insane, so she would be a scary villain. 

Then I guess Twilight would be next on the list for Midnight Sparkle reasons. Fluttershy is just great as a bat pony - plus she does actually do a good job acting it. 

Dashie would just be the hero the whole time. Cant see her as evil really.

I would have to say that Rarity would probably play a villain the best. First off, she's already pretty dramatic, which would help the acting part. Just make her play a villain, and I bet she'd pull it off. Plus, she's shown her more viscous side before; maybe she could let some of that come out. 

If one were to actually be a villain, I would guess Twilight for two main reasons. First, she's and alicorn. Unicorns and especially alicorns have active magic; this means they are more easily manipulated by outside forces - including evil forces. Second, she's by far the most powerful out of the mane 6. She would definitely be a formidable threat if she were a villain.
