Does anyone like Sassy Saddles?

To me, she always comes off as kind of a ***** to be honest.

While watching the episode for the first time, I thought she would end up being a villain type.

Her first impression is not the best one, but she quickly came to understand Rarity's view for the Canterlot Carousel Boutique.

With her aggressive corporate manager vibe and her initial blindness for the 'formula of success' she was following, it's difficult not to dislike her at first. But unlike Svengallop, she understood Rarity's posture at the end and learned from it. She's still far from being my favorite character but as a good asset for Rarity's Fashion Emporium, she has my approval.

As @DonMaguz said, she's an interesting Foil to the likes of Suri Polomare and Svengallop.

She’s alright. I can definitely connect with her desperate panic to keep things from falling apart at times. Wish I had a “Rarity” around to chill me out like she does.

Agreed. Sassy Saddles's appearances after "Canterlot Boutique" made me like her more as a character.

My thoughts after watching Canterlot Boutique - "Rarity, you're a nicer more generous soul than I."

 

 

That said, I like her just fine. I actually think she has more personality than Coco.

I did think that when she was first introduced that she was super pushy and kinda had the mentality of just making the dresses to make dresses, not to necessarily be creative about it. I thought she was gonna turn into an arch-rival of Rarity in the fashion business, I didn't really expect her to accept Rarity's form of making dresses. I guess now shes alright, but because we really don't see a whole lot of her I kinda forget about her at times.

Well, her first impression was kind of negative but quickly got better. She's ok in my eyes, not bad, but ain't favorite either. She does get the honor for being Kelly Sheridan's second pony character in FiM, recognized her Starlight-esque tones

While she is not a top favorite, I actually find her quite en-deer-ing. Her management style was understandable, and while it was not what Rarity seeked and ultimately was WAY too forced, I like how she has tried to make amends.

Ooh, ooh, I do! 

A large part of that is that I sort of misinterpreted "Canterlot Boutique" the first time around - didn't register her being pushy and taking Rarity's spotlight at all, so all I noticed was that she had some understandable ideas and seemed to have difficulty in the past, which made her seem unusually nuanced. Then, on second watch, I noticed she was taking the limelight and acting egotistical, and suddenly she became far less interesting, but I still have some residual affection. 

Plus, her subsequent appearances have all been fairly charming, so I've been able to keep that initial fondness for her going.

Sassy Sadles wasn't that bad, she just got a little carried away with Rarity's shop.

I liked how they made her conflict with Rarity but still portrayed her as trying to be helpful (and competent even though her goal wasn't what Rarity wanted).  Too often these sort of pushy, domineering characters are just jerks (see Svengallop).

Sassy Sadles is shaping up nicely. Rarity needs a slightly snooty friend to discuss fashions with. I like her non-traditional almost lanky looks. I also like her voice and manner of speaking. I'd like to see her in more episodes.
